hi im a piece of shit here are my top 10 most shameful things ive ever done

10. Dated a girl I didn't like because she had Diablo II on PC

I never owned a PC that could play games until a few years ago. I was way into Diablo II, followed it pretty religiously pre-release, and post-release I had to have it. I couldn't afford to buy a copy so I pirated it on a CDR and I took it to the library and installed it on one of their machines to play it. There I met a girl who I wasn't attracted to, wasn't really my type at all, but she was a fan of Diablo II and owned it.

I got together with her and stayed with her for nearly six months, even going as far as to tell her that I love her, mostly because she let me play Diablo 2 every day at her house. Her parents also always had beer and i was pretty into that as a teenager

her computer got a virus that was probably my fault and i dumped her

8. Peed in a friend's garbage can when I was 14 and drunk, blamed it on someone else

Staying overnight at a friend's house to play some Halo with another four people. I was drinking, because I drank a lot as a teenager. We played until like 3 a.m. and then we all went to bed. I was still drunk, went to the bathroom, couldn't find the light switch and decided that, of course, I GOT THIS.

So I peed in the opening I sort of made out in the darkness. Turns out, I peed completely in the small garbage can next to the toilet, and apparently it was a lot of pee. The next morning my friend's mom actually confronted everyone and said that someone peed in the garbage can. Nobody admitted to anything. But the situation probably would have been finished there.

Me, though, being paranoid and a shitty human being, took my friend's mom aside later that day and told her that I was awake most of the night and that another one of our friends seemed sick and made multiple trips to the bathroom in the early hours of the morning. I confided in her that he probably did it.

He was banned from future Halo parties and I believe his parents also stopped going to the church that the other kid's parents went to.

I once peed in my sleep at a friend's house. I had a dream where four beautiful women who played sports at my school were angels telling me it was okay to pee -- nothing sexual about their request, just encouragement -- so I did. I then woke up and the carpet below me was wet at this sleepover a bunch of us were having.

It was like 7:00 AM and everyone else was asleep, so I sneaked into the livingroom and there was the dad of the household -- watching TV and having a beer.

"Hey, um, I, uh...I peed the floor."

"Oh...uh, okay."

"Sorry."

I never went back over. Thank goodness that dad could keep a secret though, and fuck dreams.

7. I bought a Creed CD

When I was 12, I bought "Weathered" by Creed. I was dumped for the first and only time in my life shortly after purchasing the CD. I have been unable to concretely link the two, but I am sure there is a connection.

6. I took pee tests for people, and one time I was pretty sure my pee wasn't clean but I didn't like the guy so I did it anyway

Look, California is dumb and sometimes you need clean pee. I didn't do many drugs, just drank a lot, so I was the go-to to pee in a condom or other bag, tie it off, and give it to friends who needed to pass a test.

One of our mutual "friends" was extremely annoying and bothered me about giving him some clean pee for a job interview. I didn't want to do it in general, but also it hadn't been that long since I smoked pot, so I think there was a good chance there were more than enough metabolites in my system to fail a test.

So I took the test. He did not get the job. He called me a bunch and I sent it to voicemail until he stopped calling me.

One of my greatest shames is walking down a hall in middle school back to class from the bathroom.

Two girls come up to me, and I can't remember what they said to me, but it ended with me basically wrenching the sleeve of my jacket from one of their grips and running back to class.

I guess I might as well bump this since I have one of my own:

I caused the entire science wing in my middle school to be evacuated for a week.

So my science teacher had a collection of preserved dead animals in jars, and she encouraged students to bring any dead animals they found to her to add to her collection. We were just supposed to leave them in a designated place in the classroom before school and she would take care of them.

When I was going to feed the cows one morning I found a drowned ferret in their water. I put it in a bag to take to school and gave them fresh water.

Now for whatever reason the school alternated days between science and social studies classes (but not any other subjects). I had science on Mondays and Wednesdays with social studies Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Fridays alternating.

This day happened to be a Thursday (no science for me) with the next day being a week for me to have Friday social studies. So I had no way of knowing there was a substitute teacher both those days, and the substitute teacher was apparently not aware of my science teacher's policy.

And I guess none of the students in her classes on those two days noticed (or were bothered enough to care). I am surprised on Friday nobody would have noticed the smell. Whatever the reason, we now go into the weekend with a completely wet dead ferret decomposing in a plastic bag.

Monday comes around (and I feel sorry for the poor janitor or whoever came across that thing - keep in mind it probably drowned Wednesday night) and when the school opens it doors to start there is an announcement that all science classes will be held in the cafeteria this week because the science wing is unusable, but no further explanation is given.

At science class that day my teacher explains that a dead animal was left on the designated table by someone, but had gone unnoticed by the substitute teacher, and due to the smell it would be several days until any classrooms in that area would be usable.

I told her it was me but she didn't care - I couldn't have known and she found the whole thing pretty funny (obviously she wasn't the one who first came in). To top it off, there was some kind of committee that gave out various awards to a few of the teachers towards the end of the year (usually typical school related stuff like teacher with the best attendance rates in her classes), and she got a plaque inscribed with "Dead Ferret Award".

I don't even think there's a statute of limitations for that shit. And I'm pretty sure it's not illegal to drink underaged, just to possess alcohol. And the cops aren't patrolling obscure message boards to find people doing such banal crimes. And if they were, they'd have no evidence, no good way to identify him, likely no jurisdiction, etc etc etc.
