The only downside of this is having to hear y'all Yankees fans complain about the Wildcard game forever.

I can safely say btw, and there is probably proof of me saying this, that I like it a lot, even considering the Mets lost in it last year.

Great tension, love the focus on winning division and divisional games... the old method of 1 WC team was fine. But this is way better.

The results or circumstances of any particular Wild Card game/situation don't change my feelings on it.

That didn't help at all last year.

I really don't get why they make these games so difficult to watch on TV. Tomorrow's ALDS game is being broadcast only on MLB Network, and requires authentication through some cable provider even though normally you can just subscribe online without a cable provider.

Mlb really went nuts selling broadcast rights. Hopefully it will be more streamlined in 2020 or whenever these contracts expire.
