didn't even need to get the replay overturn to be correct in stating the Yankees "should" be up 2-1 now. there's no guarantee of course, but if he pulls Green, who was clearly overworked and had nothing left, then that likely would have been enough on its own.

It wasn't a foul ball, it was a foul tip into Sanchez' glove. When a batter fouls the ball into the catcher's glove with two strikes, it's a strikeout

First off. You're wrong, it's not remotely even.

Second. It isn't INEXCUSABLE to call that a hit by pitch. As someone who played baseball a lot of his life (and cettaiblynhasnt umped 3,000 games so he has much less excuse), YOU KNOW WHAT THE DAMN SOUND OF A BALL HITTING THE KNOB OF THE BAT FUCKING SOUNDS LIKE!!! And it doesn't sound remotely like hitting fingers. And don't give me the excuse "it was loud, uh, no, it wasn't. After they were cheated runs it was, but before that it was no louder than any other stadium.

He should have been called out. And inning over. Your season over. But your season dies Wednesday Umps or not. I guess we just have to outplay you in 5 all 5 games to make the ALCS. Whatever, prepare to get 5 game swept in a first to 3....

Shouldn't have to be challenged. Guy should have been suspended on the spot for that call. Maybe fired. It is again, inexcusable and probably termination worthy. There are literally only 2 options.

The umping in this series has been questionable but not overly so. Umping in general has been bad in the MLB this year.

The only thing that really bothers me is that Judge is still consistently getting punched out on pitches that would be below the strike zone for even a normal-sized guy. It's irritating that umps haven't figured out where the bottom of the zone should be for someone who's 6'7 yet.
