the benefit to Ayaka is that her skills are all magic rather than abilities, and she has dual casting. so you can full heal and esunaga on the same turn, which you can’t quite pull off with Tilith

I don’t think the gap is huge though

I guess it depends who your other members are. I kinda like Tilith's Break Resist + Element Resist a lot, but if you're running Rikku nulall will give you the elem resits, and Break healing on the limit is probably better than resist in a lot of situations.

One Ayaka Curaja beats a triple-casted GL-enhanced *6 Roselia's Curaga.

And she can still toss in re-raise/esunaga/Araise at the same time.

Huh...well that's interesting.

So I finished off my Gilgamesh and Camille's trust rewards today. Two more sources of DW (although I'm currently using the Aqua Blade with DW to give Mercedes both water element and access to an axe so she can be a mildly better finisher for the raid), and now it's on to an Excalibur! I've got four sources of DW right now, so I think I'm okay to focus on other TMRs.

I'm wary of spending the lapis. I got it after cashing in my inbox for arena rewards, and thought it was definitely a mistake. I don't want to be put at 2k lapis after spending this stuff, and then have it revoked.

The more I think about it, the more I feel like they pretty much have to let us keep it, right?

If they roll back, it'd probably be to last night, so anyone who legitimately pulled a rainbow, grinded the raid, or whatever today is going to be SUPER upset (and rightly so).

And if they just take the lapis, then that screws the people who didn't spend it already, unless they pull 5000 lapis from everyone--possibly putting people in the red.

Surely there's no way for them to just undo the 5000 lapis and any related sales/fusions/levels, so I feel like the final option is just letting everyone keep it and calling it a gift?

I assume they'll put a freeze on future lapis buys until they get their security straightened out, so this doesn't happen again?

There's an interesting reddit idea going around for those that did a pull with the 5k. If Gumi does a rollback, they suggest that people pull again to see if the pulls are based on a seed from when you started, or if it's randomly generated each time.

Wonder which it is. I'd bank on the latter myself.

If they let us keep it, I forsee very few "bonuses" coming from them for a while. Like if they were planning to give us 100 Lapis a day for a couple weeks sometime down the pipeline, chances are they'll scrap that if we keep the 5k.
