I don't personally consider specific sports shows a TV series. Mostly because there's nothing to really distinguish them from any given broadcast of the sport aside from minor things like the presentation, and there's no real continuity watching one sports show in a vacuum. I mean I prefer the Chicago announcers more but is it really enough to put WGN Baseball away from the others?

Different wrestling shows will have different match and roster styles, and generally have a plot that builds from week to week (or wishes it could)

Different sport shows have varying rosters and matches daily. It's also got a real life based plot surrounding it as well.

Jeopardy/Wheel should count?

That's the list of long-form shows I know I've seen more than three times through. I've seen DS9 in particular like four times over, and it's 176 44-minute episodes, so that's nuts. But Game of Thrones, I've seen it six times and counting. Up to various lengths depending on how many seasons there were at the time. I've introduced it to numerous people in-person and coordinated that with yearly rewatches.

Wheel of Fortune would be similar to sports if there were like 30 different broadcasts of Wheel of Fortune per week, all on different time slots, all with different titles

I mean if you wanna include it it's your prerogative. I wouldn't, though, personally. Mostly because like, I have no idea whether I prefer Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, NFL on FOX, NFL on CBS on average, because it's all about which game happens to be in which slot really, Despite MNF and SNF claiming to have the marquees there are so many of those per week.

Well, prefer, or even watched, really.

I watch X games of Football a week. What distribution goes to which Football slot is nearly impossible to determine, for me at least, short of manually tallying-- I'm not gonna remember in 10 weeks which station in which slot broadcast the Giants vs Eagles game. Anyway I'm just explaining that there are a lot of reasons sports are pretty clearly different, though yeah if you wanna dumb it down you can certainly consider them TV Shows.

Oh, I should maybe mention that there currently exists over 730 hour-long episodes of the Star Trek franchise plus 13 movies and I've seen each show at least twice

Stargate franchise is 214 hour-long episodes + original movie + two sequel telefilms for SG-1; 100 hour-long episodes for Atlantis; 40 hour-long episodes for Universe. I've seen SG-1 thrice plus dozens upon dozens of syndicated reruns and Atlantis twice

I don't do hundreds-of-episodes shounen anime, but I've definitely got a replacement
