Texas is pretty well known for their stand offish nature and the media loves to report the secession movement that is no where near being a serious effort in the population of the state. I don't think there is a singular state that is recognized as the worst. Each has their quirks. And what constitutes "worst" is incredibly subjective. Not having to pump your gas is a bonus since they already have the cheapest gas and it's full service. There are also some beautiful parts of the state. The beaches get packed during the summer and renting beach houses for a week is a very common thing.
