Winner of the coveted “most picked on in middle school because of her name” award every year since she was born, Hekapoo is a waifu who forged the Dimensional Scissors and is a weird immortal creature from another dimension.

I am 100% sure I didn’t notice her arms when ranking all of the waifus. If that’s supposed to be fur, you can knock her down like twenty points. If her arms are merely weird, then okay. Anyway, I like red hair, she’s got a weird exotic look to her, and the ballgown is kind of weird but not a deal breaker. Overall whatever.

Personality-wise, she acts childish and prankster-y despite being a million years old or something. Although she has a low opinion of humans, it improves eventually, so eh, overall she seems okay.

PWC-wise, she can create objects that let you travel to other dimensions. I am assuming that if she’s my waifu, she’ll let me travel to the dimension where the Marvel Cinematic Universe didn’t take off and ruin movie franchising, so that’s a major plus. Assuming we can work out the calculus of her dimension passing through time faster than Earth, things should go pretty well.

Overall, Hekapoo is not a heck of poo.

Sailor Pluto is the daughter of the Greek god Chronos, who was confused with the titan Cronus even by the Greeks themselves. This is why you don’t name completely different deities similar things unless you have a good reason for it.

Looks-wise, I should say that Sailor Pluto’s hotness varies enormously by the picture. Most of them have her squarely average or even below average, but a few make her pretty damn good looking. This was the best I could find. She’s got a solid hairstyle, good looking fashion (though I think all of the Sailor Scouts have the same clothes? I’ve never seen this show), and just looks good all around. Nothing really to complain about in any capacity.

Personality-wise, she’s aloof, lonesome, ruthless, and sad. Wow, what a catch. At least she’s doing it for a good cause (sort of).

PWC-wise, she’s always busy at her job, which is guarding an eternal time portal or something weird like that. At least she’s still on Earth, though, so she gets a better score than waifus who go on space adventures.

Overall, Sailor Pluto is coasting by on her good looks, which may just be the result of one or two flattering photos. Most of them she doesn’t even look good in.

Selphy is a librarian, who despite working and almost living in a library wears clothing that would be uncomfortable in an indoors setting and that can easily get caught on things.

Looks-wise, she’s pretty pretty. I don’t normally like hats, but she pulls it off well. She comes off to me like a way more attractive touhou.

Personality-wise, she’s soft-spoken and cheerful. I was going to dock her a few points, but apparently she would rather be an evil overlord instead of a princess because princesses are boring in reality and knights are dicks. That sounds pretty reasonable.

PWC-wise, she goes for days without food or sleeping just to keep reading more books. That probably means that I’m going to have to help her keep track of a schedule so that she can… live… so that’s a definite turn-off. She’s also possibly a secret princess who ran away from home, which sounds like it’s going to cause complications.

Overall, I also like books a lot. It’s likely that we can get along together, but as a waifu? I’m not quite sure.

Yukine Chris is a villain-turned-hero in Symphogear, I guess. I’ll be honest here, I’ve never even heard of this show.

Sort of like Sailor Pluto, Yukine has a lot of terrible pictures of her and really benefits from my “only the hottest picture counts” rule. Because of this, I ignore her usually terrible fashion sense. That said, why would you have lacy frills on a swimsuit? I’ve seen hundreds of swimsuits and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a thing.

Personality-wise, she’s hotheaded, aggressive, and distrustful. Even after she mellows out, she’s still these things. Gonna be honest here, these aren’t attractive qualities in a waifu.

PWC-wise, she seems a bit crazy and hates adults. Well, I’m an adult.

Overall… bleh? I can imagine a character like this being interesting to watch over her journey from misguided villain to hero, but as a waifu, I’d say she’s a little lacking.

I was a little unsure of how to rate the looks of someone from a play, which by definition means the waifu in question will have many different looks, but I decided the fairest way was to take the hottest version and just use it.

Looks-wise, the Lady of the Lake is… okay? I’m not up to date on my mysterious fey magic lore, but I kind of imagined her looking more otherworldly than “normal blond lady.” We’ll have to do something about those clothes when we go out, they look really problematic. Actually, wouldn’t they be a huge hassle underwater?

So she’s helpful, reasonably kind, and otherwise a solid bit of assistance on Arthur’s journey. What, she complains about her lack of screen time in the play with a song? That seems pretty reasonable, she’s only a major character in the mythos. I don’t mind a waifu who has completely reasonable expectations and becomes mildly frustrated when they are not met.

PWC-wise, there’s little to go on. She does become Arthur’s wife in the end, but whether or not things really work out is left in the air. Still, I see no likely problems.

Overall, the Lady of the Lake seems like a decent waifu.

Fran is an artificial person made out of body parts stitched together. She’s the equal of the man who created her, and likes to perform surgery to help people, but is oblivious to the negative effects her actions sometimes have.

Looks-wise, I’m kind of torn. She can be drawn cute, sure, but in real life there’s no way she wouldn’t look hideous. No amount of blond hair and cute features is going to survive all of these stitches and bolts. That said, though, I decided the drawing version is the canon one, so I ranked her based on it… and she’s still below average. It’s not just the stitches, though, there’s something vaguely unsettling about her face.

Personality-wise, she genuinely wants to help people, but just completely doesn’t get humanity. Fates worse than death, killing sapient clones, and just being a complete ditz are all on the table. I still gave her a positive number just because she seems so pleasant and earnest, though.

PWC-wise, she’s an extremely talented doctor, so there’s little chance of getting sick or hurt while she’s around. That’s a plus, I guess?

Overall… I gave her a high-ish score, but really, Fran isn’t the waifu for me. She’s a little too ditzy and a little too strange.

I still gave her a positive number just because she seems so pleasant and earnest, though.
This is precisely what I want to hear though, so many people don't get it that she's doing her best and hey, surely you can't fault her sense of morality that much!

And yeah, the medical help is nice. She also runs her own lab (with her helpers) so she can at least manage a place decently. And she makes lots of money from healing rich people.
