Or if he knows that many places, like Walmart, refuse to hire full time workers and will do everything in their power to make their employees work as many hours as possible without having to legally pay them a full time wage (meaning that if they can make you work just one hour short of qualifying for a full time job, they will do it).

Bearing in mind that this is the same place that literally punishes employees for working overtime.

They literally tell you in the interview prehire if you are being hired full time or part time. Yes if they are hiring you part time it is not to give you heakth care. And they work you the max to not pay you it, obviously.

I was 23? I think. So 8 years ago. Of course you pay into it. Never seen a healthcare plan where you don't. Wasn't expensive enough that it strikes out to me. I worked 40 hours a week.
