WorldEnd finished. I can't say it's a perfect show, but I loved it. I doubt it ever gets another season, which is tragic, but I think they knew that and did what they could to adapt it accordingly.

Natsume Yuujinchou Roku
I think I'm just getting kinda burnt out on Natsume. It was good stuff, but it didn't really have any episodes that hit me on an emotional level like all the past seasons did. There'll probably be another 3-4 year gap between seasons though, so maybe that will restore my interest.

I haven't watched season 6 yet but I'm sure I'll still enjoy it. I do agree that natsume isn't the kind of show where it should have another season so quickly after the last.

as for me, I've finished the future trunks arc in dragon ball super. it was kind of weak. most serious and dramatic arc so far but that's not really what's good about this imo.

also watched a few episodes of little witch academia. enjoying it so far but I probably won't watch too much of it until I'm caught up on DBS (less than 30 eps left now...)

Eromanga-sensei
If it means anything in Oreimo I was firmly on team Kirino. It's too bad that Sagiri (and just about every other character in the show) is just so boring or simply one toned. The show just doesn't have the same level of writing, humor, or character creation that oreimo had. I think the main reason is that the actual interaction they all have is very limited until closer to the end and even then it's not really enough. What's more is that oreimo actually felt like some sort of weird love struggle. While I know this probably is not doing the same thing it just teases it too much to be anything but that?

Grimoire of Zero
This is a show that I really liked at the start. It had a good set of cast members and reminded me of a cross between Spice and Wolf and Chaika the Coffin Princess. It does well to build upon the overall premise and world in the first half of the show. But somewhere along the line it gets weird. It like starts to focus too much on action and plot twists when that's not what was making it good at its core. Still not a bad show, but one that I think squanders potential.

World End
I'd describe this as tear bait. It's a show that does a good job at having emotional scenes but when you think about it it does not really suitably build to any of them. It's like "these are the things people remember lets put it in this show" and then they don't actually fill out what makes those scenes good in the first place. Despite that it's not like it's all sudden or anything, they do go through suitable world building but as for the characters it's much more of a story of what is happening to them versus being about them. It's just too bad that none of them really have stand out characteristics as I think it would make this show better.

Clockwork Planet
I can't call this anything else but bad. Oh, it has some parts that are funny (the cross dressing scene is pretty good, especially because there was like no actual reason for it). Or like the one robot turning into some sex bot. But the entire thing is a mess. Very little makes sense. It takes characters that individually would be pretty decent but they just don't work well together.

Fukumenkei Noise
For a while it was one of those things that was simply painful for most of the episode but it drags you back into it at the end. It keeps doing it but after a while it stops the second part. The love triangle is dumb, the characters are dumb, etc. It's only helped by like some of the music but even then it's not really enough.

Hinako Note
Hinako note is a cute show no doubt. It also has some minor fan service that is often missing from this genre and I'll be honest I don't know how I feel about it. However, it doesn't have stand out characters, comedy, and is even trumped in moeness by several other shows. Even as someone who really likes this genre this was average.

Twin Angel Break
The overall plot and story itself makes it seem like its for kids, but some of the fan service and outfits makes me almost think that the fbi could be waiting for me. Despite that I think this is more enjoyable than some would like to admit. It has funny parts but also some decent character development and even a couple of twists tossed in. It also has a villain that actually does something pretty fucking evil. Also, sheep girl is the best girl.

Little Witch Academia (TV)
As of right now this is my AotS. It's not a perfect show but imo its one that reminded me of like watching weekend cartoons on tv as a kid. It's wonderfully animated and has a terrific cast. I also like Akko a lot. She might be kinda dumb and selfish, but she has a good heart and her simple view on things makes it easier to latch on to her good qualities. I'd compare her to like Mako from KLK.

I misread. I tend to like fripside so liked Clockwork more, Eromanga's really makes me like Karen more than Alice aka, it's my favorite ClariS song at the moment. Really liked LWA's 2nd OP... And that's all I rate higher than he does.

Which was fine until Netflix decided to fuck everyone over. The modern anime scene is so built around discussion and being there for release that the Netflix model basically means nobody is going to be talking about an anime even when they finally out it out. The Netflix Model only works for shows that they ACTUALLY AIR FIRST.

I get the appeal in that, but that scene really makes it seem like it's not for me. Besides not really digging them actually singing....the fact that they'll be singing but then a few seconds later the song is still going with lyrics while they're talking is bothering the shit out of me.
