Finished Kuroko's Basketball a couple of days ago. It was consistently pretty good throughout! Not much to say, but the ridiculous powers were all fun, except for the dude who literally just has all the powers of other Generation of Miracles members. What is he, Orisa?

Oh yes Kuroko's Basketball. I wonder when that movie or OVA or whatever adapting the post-series content is coming out.

Second last episode (I think?) of the third season is so awesome. Love the animation effects with the team using their team ability.

Thoughts on more shows..

Dive
Some parts of this looked nice but a lot of it its like "this looks ugly as shit". The biggest issue is all the time skips and stuff. While I know whats going on it doesnt make it any less annoying. Also the main character is a jerk. In ways he reminds me of like the main character of Bakuman crossed with that guy from like Battery? Idk. Battery was bad too. Also if you're a girl... it didn't even have good fan service.

Vatican Kiseki Chousakan
Besides going through like every single miracle cliche short of turning water to wine... this was fine I guess. I mean it has an interesting premise but mystery anime are usually feast or famine.

Made in Abyss
One of the best shows to have aired. The production value, especially the music. It has a fun art style and has a "modern but also throwback look" to it. One of the more promising first episodes.

Shoukoku no Altair
Not really sure how to take this. I mean you have this super idealistic dude who suddenly turns into a semi-badass or something? I dont know. The only show I can really compare this to is Arslan (which I dont think is a good show). This is a show is one that could end up being great, but I'm not sure if I want to sit through what it might take to get there.

Chronos Ruler
I'l be honest. I kind of clocked out at this show. I mean around half way or so they were like "dont involve normal people" and it's like. I barely realized the girl was involved.

Hitorijime My Hero
Not bad but this has to be a lot funnier or have some more cute moments if it wants to remain on my watch list as a shounen-ai.

Princess Principal
I was very surprised how good this was. The setting, art direction, pacing, etc were all excellent. Keep an eye on this one.

Ballroom e Youkoso
Started off kinda meh but by the end this is an excellent episode. You should probably watch this.

Centaur no Nayami
This is like a slice of life... with monster girls? I dont know. I mean i didnt even realize the girl in the picture with the short hair was a girl (although I also didnt look closely and didn't realize she was wearing a skirt). I enjoyed watching it but I dont think it was like special. Also, from what I understand there are no human characters... which I do think is kinda a missed opportunity.

Tenshi no 3P!
This is made from the guy who did Ro-Kyu-Bu... I think. Something I didnt check until I finished the show because of the bomb at the end and I was like "where is the FBI?" I actually thought the majority of the episode was pretty good but like come on.

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.
Thought this was pretty good. Like it had a lot of decent set up and introducing the characters. However, it did lack like the comedy level of konosuba, the dread/realization that SAO episode 1 had, or the kind of cast dynamic Log Horizon did, or art style of grimgar. So I'd say it's a show that's going to have to find its own identity in a crowded subgenre. It's not even like all the above shows were good (the only one I liked was Konosuba).

New Game!!
Kou = Waifu of the year. Like she doesn't even do that much. Not as much comedy as I might have liked, it seems like they want to focus more on like the character and slice of life sides. Which is fine.

Classroom of the Elite
Fairly impressed with this one. It sets up the characters well and while the outcomes were obvious, it doesn't make it any less interesting to have watched it. Interested to see how this one ends up.

Nothing special or great, but definitely an enjoyable watch.

Seems like the right way to describe it. Great first impression but didn't have many tricks. Great VA for the lead girl.

I really liked the interviews themselves. I felt like I really understood the characters on a level that you don't usually get in a show like this. granted, none of the characters were really all that great but yeah. main girl was definitely the best.

Yeah, I heard. But I also heard Milky Holmes TD kind of goes back to the roots?

TD is like half and half. Its funny, but the jokes in S2 were well done and some had whole episodes leading up to them. But in TD it seems a lot more random.

Love Sanji from One Piece, but I do feel like Kurapika from HxH pulls off the mafia/secret agent style plotlines better.

This current arc as well as the Yorknew Arc have him do work that exceeds those segments Sanji's had, which to be fair weren't nearly as developed.

Both pull off these types of arcs better than Reborn ever did though :(

Fairy Tail was great. I'm going to miss it even though the fights could've been longer. I wonder what Mashima will do next. He's so fast at drawing I wouldn't be surprised if he had a brand new series launch next week >_>

I'm like 2 years behind in Fairy Tail. Now I can finish it!

Oh neat they announced they'll be animating the ending too. FT anime handled things nicely in that regard by going on break when it caught up without much filler. I wish more shounen anime did this.

I thought it was less going on breaks and more being canceled because it wasn't good
