I got Mustadio today myself... up to 50% towards my Romandan Pistol.

That 12 buck chest is really tempting, but I think I'm still gonna remain Free to Play. I'm still sitting on over 50 Rare Tickets and the first 4*+ ticket they gave us as well as about 8000 Lapis, and I am going to continue to hoard all of it and wait for the 2B Banner to pull my waifu.

So, yea, event was pretty simple. Just gotta keep dispelling aND breaking, and you're good.

I haven't tried the new event yet, but if anyone's having trouble I've got several messages from people on the FFBE board saying that Fryevia works really well against Wilhelm. Not sure if hybrid isn't considered normal physical damage or what, but a FFB chain can apparently OTKO him.

Yeah, Fryevia's the best option here if you have her, but Orlandeau still gets the job done. Just took two turns instead of one.

Even if you don't go for the quick kill, Fryevia seems good for this trial. She can break attack and dispel on top of icy death.

Also, note, he gets Shield Bash at 50%, which can proc stop.

...and he also has Physical Resist, which is why Ice Queen is so good.

Yeah, that was a piece of cake. Did the 4 team with Cecil, Refia, Fryevia, Friend Fryevia. Wilhelm was down turn 1, his buddies on turn 2. Whoops.

Yeah I saw people on Reddit going nuts over how hard Wilhelm was so I was prepared for the worst, and then he just melted and I still don't get what people were freaking out about.

Huh, I went in with 6 and he kept beating up a bunch of my guys, so Y'Shtola and Refia had to work.

I've found a lot of people refuse to use Fryevia, or really any unit other than Orlandeau when it comes to things like this. Even during the Bahamut Trial when it had 80% light resistance, too many were just sticking with Orlandeau and saying he's still the best unit to use if you switch away from Excalibur, even though that takes away his natural divine ruination imperil. Until those people realize that some scenarios favor Aileen or Fryevia (in terms of DPS units) over him, they're always going to run into problems.

some of us can't chain Freyvias. So I gotta make do with Olive for a lot of my needs.

Take your Fryevia (DW, esper Diablos for lower encounter rates and man-eater), mine, and then a unit that can do buffs or debuffs (ideally a healer for one of those).

On turn one I just had the Fryevias FFB and Wilhelm was dead (after Cecil and Refia did Focus/Embolden). Turn two the units he has with him died to a dual Frost Flash.

As far as units that chain with Fryevia, I've used Setzer and Red card to chain build with her and it's been fine. Edgar should also work, they just need Icebrand.

Depending on the Fryevia's it should be fine. Both would need Diablos and Dual Wield at least. Not sure what the exact stat requirements are for both, but I believe someone on the FFBE board got through it using mine and his (that I don't think is anything more than 500 Mag).

I was able to get Gilgamesh to level 100. With my best items, I can get him to 845 ATK. Which is good, but I was secretly hoping for a bit more... but I still need to max him out attack with power pots. I also need to get Demon Mail, do you think that trial is easy to do now?

I believe that trial is pre-Gilgamesh, so it should be ridiculously easy. I went back and did all of those after rolling over Echidna, and there was nothing difficult about any of them. The power creep is real.

That's good. Playing with the unit calculator, I'm surprised how much these pot stats matter. Putting 16 more ATK worth of pots into Gilgamesh raises his actual ATK by a ton.

Got way too many of Roberta's, now I hope I randomly pull her and Fryevia at some point.

I've got like 6 of Kain's TMR.
Which is good as it lets me have the needed weapons for Nine cheese. Just need 2 more sources of DW and it's set for 8 chained hyper jumps from a team with 50% more attack.

Setzer/Diabolos w/Ice Brand, Second Knife, Grand Helm, Assassin's Vest, Fairy Ring, Jeweled Ring, Man-Eater, Imperial Helm x2, Tempered Shield
Friend Raiden's Fryeveia w/400+ ATK and 900+ MAG

Much easier than the Flame Dragon event. Or at least a heck of a lot faster to beat, no repeating areas and bosses being mostly responsible for it. Ambushing enemies are still dick moves, but none of them pack OHKO moves (AFAIK) and Germinas Boots provides easy escape after smacking them around for LB Gems, and killing 1 Special Officer for the Monster Guide as well

The Wilhelm fight was hilariously easy. After being ATK broken and his minions gotten rid off on turn two after I Libra them, it's just a question of timing when to use the Limit on the poor bastard
