Is a full Hero's Rime Ramza going to be a sought after companion unit? I know pretty much everyone will have a Rikku when she drops, but not as many people will have him. I don't think he'd be more useful than a good Marie in certain trials, but I haven't actually seen him with enhancements yet (and probably won't for another year at the rate they're stalling)

If you don't have Ramza, you want one for long battles.

And I encountered the horse today; Appears as a replacement before the elite boss. Didn't get to see what it could do since it was manhandled by buddy Rem's Alterna.

4/5 team is full already, nice. and i continue the streak of Type-0 Golds. with the crystals i'm 100% buying some for a couple people and need to decide on a few. so far the list of stuff i want is...



Seven - Yakabe getting to a natural 50% resistance on all elements is huge and becomes an incredible unit, needs 3 T4 and 1 T5 Support. with Osmoselash she becomes hell in Arenas and needs just one Power T4 to do it. the Elementalslash upgrade is one that i'd eventually consider but not now.

Dark Fina - Ultima. checked the Japanese list too and almost nothing else seems to matter in Black. expensive but worth it.

Chizuru - her evasion skill is cheap to enhance. only one T4 support and boom, she's got 40% natural evasion. Phantom Shadow's damage boost is a lot more expensive so another time.

Bartz - all 3 of his enhancements are great and all 3 are expensive. adding auto-revive to his mana battery skill means 6 T4 and 2 T5 support. adding auto-refresh to more easily spam Entrust means 3 T4 and 1 T5 support. adding Wind Shear... well, the first level is the damage boost, second is making it AoE. so two T4 Power i guess.

Snow - the counter stuff is cheap. two T4 Power and he's countering 45% of the time for both magic and physical. hell the first level doesn't need any of 'em.

so basically snow goes from 60% counter to 90% counter all the time.

...yeah that's pretty nice.

as for Chizuru...
40% natural evasion
10% Kiyomori katana

50% needed in accessories/materia to reach 100%. this is actually quite doable. Assassin's Vest in echidna's ELT also gives 10%, though you lose out on heavy armor for her if you do that.

Pretty easy to do with a 20 sided die, still leaves a few materia slots open for resists or something. If only Golem's provoke was better, or she had more access to elemental weapons. Hoping Xon gets the same type of enhancements!

Does anybody have experience with Dark Fina's 7x Ultima from JP? Based on my understanding, it would be similar to Trance Terra's Chaos Wave in terms of hits (so possible chaining), and would hit 14 times with dualcast?

I got King, so now my team is King, 3 sices and Fryevia. Fryevia can handle the stage pretty well, though a leveled up friend King/Rem to help finish off the last enemy helps.

Fryevia can solo it with ease. Might take a buff or two but espers can do that.

Not like the boss does any damage under certain HP so easy 2HKO.

From what I've seen, King... sucks. A lot. Like, one of if not the worst 6* unit. Rem on the other hand is one of the best in global thanks to what they gave her.

Why did you take a friend Orlandeau, out of curiosity? Taking a friend Fryevia when you have one yourself leads to massive chaining bonuses. It can literally be a 2 turn battle if you have two Fryevias.

I'm loving this event. I have 5 bonus units all using items for the item use trophy, and Fryevia rolls over everything that appears in one turn.

You can just close the game and reopen it to reset the list. If you haven't got the 5 unit reward yet, give Fryevia a shot when you go for it. This trial was made for her. If it's while this event is still going I can set mine up with Diablos for Demon Killer if you'd like.

Yeah, when it comes to something resistant/immune to ice, I'm completely screwed. She can take out Ifrit like boss, and then Siren just keeps laughing at her locked into one element face. Not even worth bringing her in on that one.

I mean, you could just use second intention as damage, and she does have flunge for dispel, but yea, she can't use the needle, which hurts considerably.

Hopefully by the time that becomes an issue with a trial, I'll have 7x Ultima goodness. If everything works based on my probably incorrect interpretation, Dark Fina could do significantly more than unchained Fryevia, and non-elemental too!

25 energy for Elite is something else. Can get 1k a run though, so not too bad.

Just need to get the 30k moogle and I'll have a Genji Glove

Genji Glove is a real difference maker!

While there is no real data here other than my personal observations, I think they've boosted the rates of the event monsters to go along with the energy increase, so hopefully you run into them to speed it along.

Huh, that was true. a 600+ Atk King with Bushido Freedom can solo Judecca ELT if you restore his MP. Didn't think that would be true.

Been lurking around.... For Lightning the best I could come up with is, in an ironic twist, great sword+sword to make the most of Crushing Blow +2.

So, either Julian, a limited *5(125 atk sword with a star burst ability.), or Onion Knight's 135 atk sword.

Tonitrus (120 atk great sword with lightning element.)+Onion Sword 135atk/Seven Julians 125 atk Star Sword.

So that coupled with Desch's 45 ATK Accessory, Prishe's hat(45 ATK Hat, Skills: [HP+10%] +10% HP, [MP+10%] +10% MP), and heavy armor is up to you, since Grand Armor(DEF+72, SPR+28
Ability: HP+15%, Knight Delita) is probably the best you can get besides Demon Mail and some others.

Provided Gumi doesn't toss in something new.

That's how it normally seems to work. I fully expect to have about 40 Tidus' and no Rikku when that banner finally hits, since I got Dark Fina and Fryevia both while pulling for Xon.

There's a group botting or hacking the raid really badly. It's gone up 5 levels in 6 hours, and people have dropped 15k in their spot in the last hour. I hope Gumi does something about this soon, I'm sitting in the mid 800s right now and want my 5 tickets.

They're somewhere between ranks 2300 and 5000 right now. It looks like they're still going too.

From what the FFBE board is saying, last time something like this happened Gumi gave everyone the top rewards as compensation. That would certainly be awesome, but I doubt they'll go that far if they give us anything.
