I love screwing with ragers. Have a quest rogue dead to rights. He has 2 health left and he ropes his turn out.

So I wait until I start roping. You can see him hover over cards thinking maybe I DCd and he has hope. Last second of rope, throw down consecration.

oh dude this reminds me of a pretty hilarious one I did a while back. there was a match I was playing where the other player had effectively already won. so then at the end of his turn he just

intentionally BMs a bunch and waits as long as possible, roping out

I was like "I don't think this guy understands how this works"

so it is now my turn right

now normally if I've already lost a game I would just concede. instead I just walk away from my computer and make him wait the entire full 2 minutes before it passes back to his turn. he probably was not having as much fun anymore at that point.

One time, back when I had only been playing for a couple of days or so and Hearthstone was still just fresh out of the closed beta, someone was emote spamming me in a game I had won. So, instead of killing him, or emoting back, or even roping, I left him at one and then ended my turn, making him play out another turn before I killed him. Sweet BM revenge!

This was before I knew that Force, Savage, Innervate, Savage was a thing. Since then, I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've BMed someone.

Holy crap. No, sir, no you do not. All playable to varying degrees, too.

500 wins with Paladin get. Uther looks pretty sweet Golden.

Leaves Druid, Rogue, and Priest left.

I think Mage is my highest, at 150 or so. Hoping by the time I actually play ladder enough to reach 500 they'll have an option to toggle them off.

Vicious Fledgling is easily my favorite new card. Just won 5 games in a row, 4 purely because I got Fledgling out early and they couldn't deal with it. It just spirals out of control so quickly if it sticks.

Tempted to put another in my deck

It's a really good card because if you don't kill it you're fucked and puts a ton of pressure on Quest Rogue especially

A common druid play is to innervate out fledgling. It's like the main reason I keep swp in my priest deck.

I generally coin it out of I can or try stick it behind a taunt. Especially good if you can get the non target able adapt (granted not before windfury)

I crafted finja just to try out aggro Druid, well that and finja is cool

I feel like I draw pretty well, but every time I feel like I truly have an amazing draw, like best draw ever status.... Those are the few occasions where my opponent has every answer they need to counter that specific situation.

But eh, been hovering between 4 and 5 this month without committing an absurd amount of time so I can't complain too much. Probably not going to make a special push for legend, but maybe in May.

Aggro Druid is pretty strong, yeah. What makes it work is it's really easy to tech in crabs if you are facing Pirates/Murlocs or just replace them with Squire/Runt if you aren't.

Contemplating trying to hit legend tonight since I'm so close. Just need to think of what deck I want to play to hit it there.

I would give a lot to exchange my pull luck for gameplay luck and good draws. Good pulls mean shit when everyone always draws well and RNGs everything perfectly.

hey ulti here are some cards you might be interested in (pseudo trainers)

The Curator; my favorite card to be released in recent memory. he pulls a dragon, a beast, and a murlock from your deck. because of his high cost and value oriented design he works almost exclusively in control decks. generally you want to set up 2 copies of a beast, a dragon, and a murloc in the same deck. this guarantees that you'll always pull the exact cards you want when you play the Curator. some variations include two bluegills and two warleaders (4 murlocs total) since you want to draw all of your murlocs as fast as possible, but this was more true during Karazhan meta when anyfin paladin was still playable. I think probably drawing either of those cards is normally good especially if you're already holding others. not a trainer in the sense that he lets you search your deck for a card, but more in the sense that you pre-arrange specific cards ahead of time that you know he'll pull later on. probably the closest thing hearthstone has to a trainer. great deck thinning mechanic. he can also be used in dragon decks with more than 2 dragons, and is a way to ensure you'll have a dragon in hand for the next turn (or he can be played alongside netherspite historian for example).

Finja, the Flying Star; A little more complicated to pull off but he's actually more usable in aggro style decks. with Finja you just run exactly Finja, two Bluegill, and two Warleaders. if Finja kills something he just automatically thins your deck and throws some amount of burst damage onto the board. I've heard he is just flat out good enough that you can play him even with other Murlocs in the deck since him putting stuff onto the board for free (and thinning the deck of low cost minions) is always good. haven't tested it myself so I can't say for sure.

Shadow Visions; does not actually thin your deck but it's a great control option for spell priests. the classic problem with priest has always been that its answers to situations are way too specific. essentially you have cards that can do really niche things but you have to have them in your hand at the perfect time to counter whatever is happening on the board -- making them less effective. shadow visions allows you to discover between 3 spells in your deck. this means you have full control over what Shadow Visions selects for and if you have drawn Shadow Visions you can intentionally draw into whatever spell you need to play at that moment. it should theoretically also work in silence priest as well because you can use it to make sure you have your silence effects in hand rather than waiting to draw them. basically just overall increases the chances that you'll have the cards you want.

Curator is pretty good. In Murloc decks he can grab you a Murloc and a gentle megasaur. In taunt warrior he can grab you a dire horn or King mosh and a primordial drake.

I don't think you even need the third type to make him worth it when you have specific high value guys to pull.
