(I will put my info here one of these days)

I couldn't think of anything cause tbqh the meta actually seems pretty balanced! Warrior is the best and I guess Warlock is gonna end up as the worst but hey every class is viable to some degree

Does Questing Adventurer say anything different if you play a quest when he's on the board?

Seems like a wasted opportunity if he doesn't.

I actually feel the other way around. "Hard data" is only useful if you're assuming everyone is always making the optimal plays, or at least making mistakes of equal magnitude on all decks. Neither of those assumptions seems safe to me, even if you restrict the data you're looking at to players above a certain ranking.

The data that comes from data reaper is based on user-tracked games across all ranks, so you can probably assume an average amount of misplays. It's more relevant to the average ladder player than pro win percentages. I feel like the Tempostorm meta snapshot is a better look at what you can expect to run into on ladder, I just don't trust it for actual matchup rankings at all anymore.

My point was more that certain decks are more likely to feature misplays than others. It's a lot easier to screw up a Control Priest than a Pirate Warrior, for instance. Meanwhile, the Tempostorm numbers are based more on "okay, if both players play perfectly, what happens?" That's more interesting to me.

It's not so much that quest rogue is OP as it is that the game is determined in their opening hand and if they get the right draw, you're done, nothing you can do about it.

It's not fun.

But I generally keep standard-legal golds. There's no advantage to dusting them immediately vs. when they rotate, when you think about it.

Despite the fact that the winrate isn't very high, I still contemplate conceding and closing the game every time I come up against a Quest Rogue. I don't think I've ever faced a single deck that's less fun to play against.

Click on tier 1. On a long enough timeline, my claims are all proven right eventually. Taunt is a mechanic that is in no way designed properly.

Now go pick Rogue in this week's tavern brawl, and compare that Rogue deck to the actual meta. The idiots who designed this game were literally too stupid to realize the Rogue quest could happen too quickly. When I say Blizzard doesn't know what the fuck they're doing, I know what I'm talking about.

Basically, Quest Murloc Shaman is in a bad spot vs. Pirate Warrior and Quest Rogue, against whom it cannot afford to skip t1; and while Paladin has 2 fantastic 1-drop murlocs, Shaman's got no good class murlocs in Standard. At all.

If Everyfin were still legal, they'd be in a fantastic spot, but as it stands... Yeah.
