Actually if they did choose me and my wife, I would be pissed but I would go outside and talk with customer service reps to give me and my wife a better incentive or work out a better solution or something. I wouldn't go violent. Of course that still doesn't excuse how they handled the situation though. It's shitty all around to kick a person off the plane when they're already seated.
