If he worked in a clinic and it was routine check ups then appointments can be rescheduled or they can see another doctor. If it was a hospital there are a pool of doctors and this guy missing a day won't impact anything.

No and I've said several times now that they're a shitty company. I've missed flights, been bumped, lost luggage and charged extra bull shit free that other airlines dont/didn't have. I hate them.
I mostly started commenting because everyone was talking about the security/cop /Marshall or whatever he was. I've done that job. I can emphasize with the guy being demonized for legally removing a trespasser.
I've stated that this was handled wrong and that I don't like the policy but it's the policy that exists that this guy agreed to.
I also hate all this "he needed to see patients." I worked in a hospital. He didn't.
