Just found myself curious about this. I got a mild concussion a couple years back when I was taking the garbage out working at a movie theater; it was really windy and the metal latch on the gate to the trash compactor area blew right into my head.

I'll just say "yes" from getting punched into the corner of a wall when playing Power Rangers when I was little. I needed stitches >_>

two. one was pretty bad for sure. the other I imagine was pretty bad since I was a baby, but I don't actually know for certain. don't remember the full story on that one.

I think so when I slipped on wet concrete once, but I almost never go to the doctor if I can avoid it so who knows what the diagnosis would be. Not like I was bleeding or anything just... really dazed for hours to the point I suspected a concussion

In elementary school I fell on the back of my head when I was outside. Can't remember if it was concrete or dirt that I fell onto but I remember it hurting a lot when I landed and then I had to go to the hospital afterwards, so probably concrete. I think it was a mild concussion but it was a concussion nonetheless.

And in middle school I jumped into bed one night and clobbered my head on the headboard, I thought I saw stars

once when i was like 10 or 11 in gym class playing capture the flag. dove at a kid carrying the flag just before he crossed back to his side, and my head went straight into his knee. i was knocked out for long enough that i woke up in my parents car, but i don't remember feeling that bad. so i'm not sure if that counts as a bad one or not. i did vomit and had some temporary long-term memory loss.

Not sure. Like I used to do a lot of martial arts and stuff like that for years and it would not surprise me if I had one at one point.

I can think of a couple incidents that might suggest yes, but not that I know of for certain.

Had a minor one in basketball where I smacked my head against another kids. I think I vommited, but was fine the next day.

Once that I know for sure.

I was working loss prevention at Sears, and watching some dude stealing on our big bank of monitors. Got a knock on the office door to open up the secured TV room, and in my haste to not lose the dude on the monitors I stood up and caught my foot in my backpack strap, which also happened to be hooked under the table leg.

I went headfirst into the corner of the door as I opened it.

It was such a stupid confluence of random events. Yackety Sax should have been playing.

Yes. I walked into my mom's bedroom door two years ago. The lights were off and I thought it was open. Slammed head first and went down hard.

I was shocked by how unbelievably terrible I felt for like 10 days. The worst part was that for like a month if I even lightly bonked my head, the concussion symptoms would return.

It gave me a lot of insite into how badly football players and pro wrestlers need to STOP for a while when they get one. But we all know they don't.

I've never been treated for one, but I'm sure I've had a few, most notably when a large wooden door fell directly on the back of my head.

I was playing right forward on our youth soccer team, one of my teammates stole the ball, so i started running down the field. Turned around, soccer ball square in the forehead. I didn't remember anything else that entire day.

I have only had one diagnosed concussion. That being said, I played Football for 14 years of my life so chances are I probably had more.

I don't think so. I've bloodied my head a couple of times from impacts, but I didn't show any signs of concussion after either incident.

I keep getting sympathetically light-headed reading these stories. I was actually able to drive myself home (probably shouldn't have but "probably shouldn't have" is the story of my life) but I did get sent home from work early because I was really pale and dizzy. And a little nauseous.

This exactly. The one that springs to mind was while playing football for gym class one day. I was flung into the air while making a tackle and I landed awkwardly on my face. I was dazed for 5-10 seconds before regaining my composure. I didn't know what a concussion was back then, but now that I reflect on it, I'm guessing that I suffered a minor one then.

A few times. From rugby and from just general accidents when playing when I was younger. The worst one was diving backwards into a pool and landing on my head.
