He has been pretty good lately at knowing what I would and would not do, and so to make such a false statement with such certainty when I know I am town it felt like a good idea to kill him.

I see. That makes a ton of sense now that we know for certain that Plum is Mafia.
What I can take out of this is that there seems to be a main Mafia (as opposed to sub-factions as someone had mentioned earlier) in this game, as indicated by Plum's flip just mentioning "Mafia" and nothing else flavor wise. I do figure that there is some sort of independent SK, though...but as Luis said, there's no use in worrying about it right now.
I'll try to have something of more substance later today. Got some crap due in a few hours, though...
Expect to be busy today at work so I will be sparse, but I want to weigh in briefly on the Sunny Milk claim. Based on plum's flip, htaed suggested that we might be looking at a scumteam of final bosses (Yuyuko is the final boss of Perfect Cherry Blossom), which was also my guess. If so, I can buy Sunny as miller. In the game Fairy Wars, Sunny and the other two mischievous fairies team up as the final boss -- so she's kind of a final boss but not really. Fairies can't do much by themselves (like UFOs).

Either way, my gut instinct on flavor is to not buy it as a reasonable flavor with Yuyuko flipped, because I'm not drawing any connection between the two at all. I mean I'm not terribly familiar with the Fairy trio because I only read like two chapters of their manga and didn't like it, and as I said, never played the game but
Well anyways, it's a miller claim, flavor meta be damned even though I just did a bit of it. My bigger problem with it is how relatively late it came. Maybe I'm just concerned because I remember Scum Chris literally winning a game on a delayed D1 miller claim, but I don't like it.

@InsaneOne - I'm not confident that the whole "can we talk at night" thing wasn't just fed to Eagles by the scumteam. Judging his alignment from his play is a better idea, and he's laid weak votes on Spiral and then XIII (the guy who voted for Spiral in the first place). He's played some mafia before, he should know better.

Anyway. The Arti train is hella bad; I appreciate the value in voting people to make them post more, but the train that has developed lacks basis. I find Walrus's vote particularly bad and quite likely a bandwagon; it doesn't add anything to the discussion and doesn't have much weight behind it.
Flavor discussion is dumb; as for the miller thing, I don't draw any conclusions about it one way or another. Really kind of pointless.

I won't be as active in this game as I was in CM2, due to being in other games and crunch time at work.

I suppose. I just find it hard to believe that another website playing Mafia did not make players shut the hell up at night. That is how the game is played, period. Freely talking at night just...makes no sense.

and I'd say that trying to force a claim this early can stall the game and give scum info. we have 24 hours of time left in the day. more discussion is better at this point. it doesn't take an entire day to analyze a claim.
You are saying miller wasn't immediately counterclaimed. Im saying everyone hasn't voiced an opinion on it yet. So you basing your believability on that is just wasted words.

Honestly, the only person that I have some suspicion towards at this point is any connections that Plum made. That was with Jdizzy and Dante, IIRC. A typical day 1 mafia move would be to suspect a scumbuddy of his along with someone innocent, and leave it at that. Plum...pretty much did the same thing. That's my only lead at the moment. I don't particularly agree with an Articuno d1 lynch. He isn't particularly acting different from his D1 play in CM2 and FE (only two games I have read that he was in fully).
In summary, either Dante/JDizzy looks pretty bad just from plum's comments. I would lean more towards Jdizzy just from the conversations that he had early with him, then jumping to incriminate him.
As for Eagles, I'm leaning towards him being scum simply based on the fact that I really find it suspicious that someone would not know that talking at night is forbidden. It's mafia basics 101. Simple as that. I sense that he's lying to some point about his past play experience (or vibes, at least).
