From: greengravy294 | #049 Honestly, the only person that I have some suspicion towards at this point is any connections that Plum made. That was with Jdizzy and Dante, IIRC. A typical day 1 mafia move would be to suspect a scumbuddy of his along with someone innocent, and leave it at that. Plum...pretty much did the same thing. That's my only lead at the moment. I don't particularly agree with an Articuno d1 lynch. He isn't particularly acting different from his D1 play in CM2 and FE (only two games I have read that he was in fully).
In summary, either Dante/JDizzy looks pretty bad just from plum's comments. I would lean more towards Jdizzy just from the conversations that he had early with him, then jumping to incriminate him.
Uh... how can you know this without seeing a flip? For all you know, Plum was setting up a buddy or two for bussing if need be, or he was suspecting only town.
As for Eagles, I'm leaning towards him being scum simply based on the fact that I really find it suspicious that someone would not know that talking at night is forbidden. It's mafia basics 101. Simple as that. I sense that he's lying to some point about his past play experience (or vibes, at least).
You and I know this, sure. However, Mafia is played in a lot of places under a lot of different rulesets, and it's entirely possible he's used to being able to talk at night. Now it's possible he's slipping here and thinking since he can talk on his scumboard at night he can talk anywhere, I will grant you that. But to me his overall demeanor has seemed very newbie town.

I'm okay with shados' claim for now because I didn't find him scummy earlier and I think town shados is more likely to randomly claim with no pressure. (Not willing to meta the lack of a counterclaim. Not all games have millers.) Unnecessary miller claim on d1 is bad play, because it helps scum narrow down town power roles, but it's frequent enough.
Chris - so you're saying Boko doesn't know you're clever?

I would also like an explanation of this.

Boko votes you. You post 10 minutes later, not referring to the vote at all. How is that not ignoring votes on you? Please explain this to me. You had to have seen the vote, it doesn't make sense.
We can add the fact that you voted me and then backpedaled after you were suspected of bandwagoning. Trying to deflect suspicion, huh?

Chris, why is Boko scum? Could you elaborate, please?
Think that's everything so far.

Well the reason why I don't post often is that I'm in high school and can only use the schools internet most of the time, about the votes on you, I don't see why they are voting for you since you haven't done anything that really shows me that you should be lynched, and I'm still trying to figure out everything else that is going on.
My school day is ending so I will get to this tomorrow morning.

I'm rather surprised we're only at the second page, tbqh.
Well, from everyone else's reasoning, I'm leaning towards Drakeryn and Gravy being suspicious. Although Gravy's is a bit more understandable, because I sometimes do things like that as well (outside of mafia). Things can just go out of your hands. But I'll see what everyone (especially Drakeryn and Grave) have to say for now.
Incorrect, if you only felt like forcing claims towards the end of the day.(Or even over the halfway point) You're telling scum they have a huge cushion where they don't have to worry. Whenever possible, barring other circumstances if a claim can be forced, it should be.
From: SBell0105 | #431 You'll do good to learn the difference between SBell posting via his touch screen cell phone at work during the day and SBell posting from his computer at home not being distracted by work at night. With that said, I stand strongly behind my vote on Poka, granted he is NOT in the game but if he was I'm damn sure he would have been scum with that set of posts. I had two posts about soap operas while 2 others had posts about wrestling and I think you want to address ulti with the tip touching, not me.
But while we are on the topic of what people have done so far this game, Pot, Kettle, YOU. You opened the game by talking about a previous game and then you pretty much ridiculed the two newest and easiest targets in the game. Frankly, the fact that you like my Arti vote makes me like it a bit less.
There is a difference between random observations and even attempting to generate discussion. You may completely disagree with me "ridiculing" the two newer players, but the fact is I was attempting to make them justify their completely random bandwagon votes, which admittedly neither really did. As for me mentioning random past games? Yeah, I did it. But I didn't make roughly 50 meaningless posts in the topic doing it to appear active. You have gotten better recently though, which posts like this:
From: SBell0105 | #046 And gravy what exactly have you done other then meta newbies and outside mafia and toss in pointless one liners?
These are the posts I like the see. Asking questions to actually get us places. And feel fine on your articuno lynch; I meant that I liked the thought process behind it more than pokas, not that I like the lynch itself. I still don't understand pokas: What about his posts were odd? did I miss one besides "that was cool?"
As far as Shados' miller claim: I have no real opinion on it, besides that I disagree with millers claiming day 1. I see no reason to doubt it at this time.
anyway gutz: I went to bed last night not feeling very good about drak (lol counter-suspicion), but reading up today I seem to like him better. No real reason for either the like or the dislike, but hey when I reread day 1 later this post will remind me to look further into him.
KingKrako looks bad from the luis exchange, because seriously if you don't know how someone plays don't take other peoples words for it. If you think someone is scum you go for it, and he just lost the entirety of his venom (if there was any) when it looked like the vote might not be popular.
No one else has really stood out to me yet (besides chris obviously; who gets a pass until multi-factions looks very plausible imo).

If that was directed at me (and I'm pretty sure it was), I'll just wait for a bit until Drakeryn replies. As for Gravy, well, it's a bit complicated since if I wait longer...that's exactly the reason I'm suspecting him. What do you think, everyone?
I'm not sure if lack of activity after saying you'll post something is a good move, whether you're a scum or town, since, you know, it's very noticeable and detrimental to the game.

Half a backpedal.
I was under the mindset that any early interactions that plum made were under the pretext that someone was aligned with him. In Chaos 2, he was masons with Regaro. What I didn't take into context is that any dialogue in the first...say, 50 posts, can generally be thrown out. There are rare exceptions, but...this probably just falls under that. Therefore, I can discount that against you. I should have cross checked my facts but I ran out of time before class and I went with it anyways and shortly realized how stupid it was.
However, I can't discount anything else I said. But I can't exactly prove it either. There's a good chance you're innocent, if Plum only targeted innocents, as owl mentioned earlier. But I was asked whom I suspected, and the players suspected during the first day of D1 are generally bad candidates. I don't like the Articuno train, nor the Spiral joke votes that became more than that from newbies falling into it. I've gone over my feelings on Eagles as well. Everyone else has generally been inactive or hasn't made much an impact, which is suspect in itself, but I can't exactly just pick a random inactive player and go with that.

Genetics is exciting!
But I guess that answer is acceptable, except you should've known that you were going to have to solve a problem in the first place. Perhaps you only misjudged the time you had...

Doing some catchup between classes. From what I just read...
SBell, I was referring to the "guess I'm following Reg on this one" type comment (don't remember the specific wording) when you voted Arti because his comments were forcing your hand. Simply came off ungenuine to me. Still disagree with you on the Poka thing, I don't see how the "is/was" thing is a slip (FE should be a lesson to all about slips).
Didn't really like shados after going over stuff yesterday, but I don't think he risks the Miller claim. Having already lost one player, I doubt mafia risks the possibility of there being a Miller withholding his claim.
Still disagree about the "scum feeding Eagles to act clueless" idea, but Walrus also explains he dislikes the way he had been voting, which is justified. The unvoting of Arti is weird, but pretty much all of Walrus's posts have been like this. Pretty much every time he basically says he still feels the person is scum but wants to throw attention at someone else. So the Arti switch isn't concerning in itself. Don't like the "too early to be forcing claims" comment.
Gravy I don't like that much. Eagle's voting is not stellar in any way, but if you're going to go after him you attack him for that. Not with your feeling being "he can't possibly be telling the truth about his past experience". There's also the fact he said he only played 4 games which really isn't that experienced even if that board was playing proper mafia.
Also the jdizzy suspicion feels like picking someone at random who has had some attention already. The plum-dizzy interaction had nothing of note in it. If plum hadn't pointed out dizzy and all that, he would have been more suspicious of being scum. As far as busing, I feel its more likely he'd be busing Dante than dizzy. He calls out Dante's bad vote (indireclty), but then points out dizzy for voting Dante for that suspicion.
So gravy, why does Dante get the pass from being the "bused" over dizzy?
Cats, what exactly is your internet situation, because from the way it sounds you can't do anything at home. Which if that's the case, do you plan to just not post at all on the weekends?
X_Dante_X posted... how often would you say chris is right about you?
Not sure really. Chris has def nailed me as scum in the past though and early too. If I was scum this game is probably be.freaking out right now about Chris not feeling right.about me. But I'm not.
I would, however, Like to know what is it that makes Chris.uneasy with me since I feel like I've been portraying myself in an extremely scum hunty manner as it is my purpose here (as it is all of our (towns) purpose)
Oh, and reading over XIII and Spiral last night, I don't really like that interaction much.
Spiral is right in calling out XIII as basically just completely focusing on him and not doing anything else, but Spiral has pretty much done the exact same thing the opposite direction. He has basically sat there calling XIII's attacks baseless but hasn't contributed much outside of that.
I've also noticed a lack of either one of them so far since earlier.
SBell, explain why you think the Poka vote (given he was in the game) was a good vote? (think you kind of did before, but I want a full explanation, ie your thought process behind it)
