I like neither of these lynches, by the way. Eagles is a dumb newbie Spiral is terrible Drak I think is misguided (typing that sentence makes me want to suddenly lynch Drak but I think he is town) Sbell I don't like much right now Regaro is terrible Silver is terrible and Boko is who I am voting.

I think Boko is scum who is cracking under the pressure of being in the same game as a town Sir Chris. Apply pressure to the egg and it will crack open and produce a nice poached egg for me to eat.

i am currently mulling over my theories about regaro and sbell, which is why I haven't voted them yet. i have a few thoughts but I would rather keep them to myself for now.

if you do want a fun conspiracy theory out of me, then: masterplum is nue, MAFIA shapeshifter. sir chris is the mafia day assassin/yuyuko and shot masterplum because he's 1) an idiot and 2) it confirms chris as "town", because mafia would surely never do such a play on day one.

I've had no overriding opinion on SBell up to now, but "Oh woes me" posts, and moaning about attracting ire despite trying to look as townish as possible does not strike me as Town SBell's style.

I brought it up because you're easier to get a bead on when you're animated, and despite you claiming to do so, you haven't really defended your actions, you've moaned about attracting suspicion despite doing everything you're 'supposed to do' as town. To me it looks like frustration, and as you just put, town shouldn't worry about how they appear to others. I know I didn't in Poker mafia, so long as I was right about who was scum, and I was.

I'm glad I had that Spiral thing early in the day to keep me active. It WAS a personal vendetta but people actually...started voting for him >_> So I thought I'd stay on for a while and see if it went anywhere. That said, his countervote, his kind of...vagueness, his lack of real fire towards me or anything were all things I disliked so it's not like I'm totally happy with the guy, but for NOW,

Votes on Articuno on Day 1 are lame. I'm not saying the guy should be immune from criticism D1 but he does this as town every time (inactivity, votes no lynch, doesn't DO that much), so I really don't get these votes from people who actually KNOW that. I don't like or agree with it but it's just how he rolls and he apparently isn't going to change so...oh and then Walrus jumps off him. And looks pretty bad in the process.

I am not interested in this newbie meta. I think it's overly paranoid and the whole "talk at night" thing seems fair to me.

Oh and now Owl and Spiral are talking about me again.

Hmm I seem to remember Spiral saying "if you think someone is scum, you drill them into the ground" or something like that. He thinks I'm scum, and yet he makes about 4 posts in the topic (more than me, admittedly), none of them relating to the guy his vote is on. How odd. How...not actually tallying with what Spiral has said to be in the past (when he was town, no less).

Oh, now he's talking about me. When he's been prodded to do so by Owl.

Yep, dude is scum. Personal vendetta out of the window now, this is a crystal-clear XIII. I'm almost sad because me voting for Spiral will actually have less credence now but yeah, he's all over the place here.

And I voted for XIII cause the vendetta thing has no palce ina a new game of mafia IMO.

Having a personal vendetta might be "anti-town" or even "anti-'the game of Mafia'" but it's not scummy. It's a great leap to go from "he personally does not want that person in the game because holy crap so awful" to "he is scum". And uh, guys, I literally told Chris to shoot me. Scum doesn't say that when they've already lost one guy after about 30 seconds.

SBell, for me, is town, though I quite enjoy his and Chris' relationship. It's like Sheamus and Jinder Mahal.

I'll be awake for another hour so fire questions at me before I go to bed.

And because of the excellent start time I should be around for most of the rest of the mafia day once I wake up tomorrow which is nice.

and there is no "too far". People who know me know that when I dislike somebody I give them no credit or leeway whatsoever. For example, I dislike Biolizard so I rallied against him in rap battle because he deserves nothing in my book - even if he's technically the better rapper he has no business beating me in anything.

You are making a large leap here, like I said. In fact, it's quite an impressive reach. Are you desperate for an interesting read to seem valuable and look like you're scumhunting?

It was all a bit of fun really, but then Alec spends two weeks taunting me about "omg you might lose to BIO wouldn't that be embarrassing", then I get "randomly" drawn against him. So losing seemed worse than it would have been.

I mean I lost to Anri in the losers' bracket by like, 2 votes and could have rallied my way to victory there with insane ease, but I didn't because Anri is a good user who I was fine with losing against. I will lose with grace to anybody I deem...worthwhile. So basically, absolutely anybody else in the rap battle bracket. Bio, though? Nah.

hmm rereading all of Sbells posts in one go makes him seem rather more reactive than active

I mean its slightly different from his FE play, but that almost didnt end well for him day1 so I can understand him changing it up

Outside the obvious, I think silver is obvtown. I thought the same D1 of Chaos mafia, and he's exactly the same here.

I'm not sure about Drak. If there's one thing I've earmarked about his scumplay in the past, it's that he likes to pick on easy lynches. Other than that it can be hard to distinguish because he plays scum quite well. When he's town, he's always among the most insightful in the game, but he's never blase about it, which he can then pull off as scum. Whilst I think his vote on XIII is a little lazy, it's too soon to call him scum for it.

I kind of feel like I should look into plum's name drops more. He has a real habit of going half-and-half with who he decides to talk about, regardless of whether he's speaking favourably about them or not. I'd be very surprised if he didn't say at least one scumbuddy was townish or scummy. I know people have brought up jdizzy and Dante, but I'll probably see if he mentioned anyone else.
