Welcome to another round of the Best OST Contest, where we decide the best game soundtrack by voting on the songs in it.
Condensed rules and guidelines: * You must listen to both songs in the match. Use the provided links. * You must vote on the songs in the match. Not the game's overall music. Not how much you like the game itself. ***VOTE ON THE SONGS*** * To help enforce rule 2, All votes must be given for the song title, not the game or the seed number. No exceptions. * Normal contest rules apply about alts, rallying, multi-voting, etc. * No mid-thread tallies, please. * Matches run 24 hours from when they start.

first match is easy, space jam is fun but I much prefer in case of trouble. as with most of bastion's soundtrack it features a great blend of old west folk music and heavy electronic beats, great stuff
second match is much harder, both songs are good and from games that I loved way too much...though I remember air base making me rage quite a lot on one of the challenges...but I like the music at least!
Really great top match. In Case of Trouble sorta reminds me of The Stone Roses for some reason, and is a terrific piece regardless of what its inspiration is...but the Funky Stars Remix is a classic. There's a reason it spawned an enduring meme in remixing VGM pieces with the Space Jam that lasts to this day. It's a pity that Bastion didn't draw a weaker opponent - Funky Stars Remix is probably Top 5 or 10 of all first-round tracks.
Second match isn't nearly as exciting. Mute City is just too short, and doesn't conclude satisfactorily, which makes me favor Espionage X. Funky Stars Remix >In Case of Trouble>>Espionage X>Mute City

Little Jack held the lead comfortably for the majority of the day, but as night wore on, Trial 2004 battled back and took a brief two vote lead before the last pair of votes equalized the match. Tiebreaker tomorrow, 17-17.
Fountain Gardens was never in it against Invisible Moon ~ Lunatic Eyes. Youhou 8 advances, 27-8.
Abstain. Don't really care about either song - I have no idea why this song was picked for Bastion. I would've voted the majority of the soundtrack with ease here.
That Space Jam remix is catchy, but I think I like In Case of Trouble a bit more. I liked both to some extent at least. Mute City is sort of meh, while I found Espionage X, once again, catchy. So yeah.
Oh, and it looks like my vote made for the tie yesterday. Whoops.

Oh, a big machine with flashy lights. A big machine like that has me written all over it. Well, okay, it doesn't. But give me time... and a crayon --11th Doctor
