kayle's new passive means that they needed to massive buff the base values on her abilities to make up for it. Lowering the ratios ALSO means that they need to buff the base values. Just hope they did it enough

I think you guys are underestimating the potential of dual resistance shredding. It'll be hard to know without the exact value, but she could have lower damage values on her abilities overall by a good margin and still do more damage overall because of the resist shredding.

Ding, ding, effing ding. Anybody who whines is not getting the big thing: PERCENT RESIST SHREDDING GOES BEFORE ARPEN AND FLAT REDUCTION. Kayle might very well be able to go 9/0/21, get Nashor's, get Cleaver, and start stacking carry items to basically hit you for true damage all day erryday, with a splash of magic damage to boot to make her balls hard to itemize against. It's a RIDICULOUS boost.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but these adjustments point towards a more support angle than the flimsy carry she used to be.

A heal and gigantic burst of speed.

A slow.

Dual resist shredding from a distance.

A shield that prevents all damage on anyone who needs it.

She's got great tools. She always did. We'll have to wait for the specifics, but right now, I'd say she can be played any number of ways.

Yeah, that's what I meant by any number of ways. With the shredding, she could theoretically carry late game just by stacking attack speed. That is, assuming it cuts deep enough.

i think ultimately she'll be a solid hybrid carry with rageblade/malady/cleaver/whatever, since she won't be that good of a support when compared to zilean/sona/taric/janna.

Pretty much, you can play her megacarry with pure AD, support carry with Cleaver and Nashor's, and pure support with heavy AP and distance nuking.

ATTN, terrible pubbies: It doesn't matter how poorly you build, how much you rush a SotO as Ezreal and die repeatedly to sololane shaco, whether you get a Reverie as your first item as blitz and miss most grabs. I have a champion who can rescue me from my low elo burial and I know how to abuse him. Sit there and soak up CC and spells. You are nothing more than a helpful distraction.

Brand is entirely combo-based and does some seriously epic damage. Cassio too if your team has some CC to keep the enemy from snagging her before the DoTs finally kill them.

I tried Cass, but I'd need more time to get great with her. I'd rather wait until her next free week five years from now to really get a good grasp on her.

Brand was fun during the time I played him on his free week, but I also had no clue what I was doing in any of my games. I'd love to learn him.

So I finally won my first lone solo queue game in a long time with Anivia, but I don't feel too good about it. I'm still shaky on my spell usage and I just barely beat my total deaths by one kill.

Still, I got a lot of assists, and once I calmed down from a lousy mid game, I was able to convince my team to grab Baron and we took down ALL of their towers and inhibs to get the win.

Right now, it's just a grind until I get the points for Annie, then it's actually time to learn her. Not like that's difficult.

Upcoming Patch Changes



- Tryndamere now uses fury system
- TF and Pantheon no longer have global ultimates. You can still move from lane-to-lane, but no longer go anywhere. They acknowledge that this makes Pantheon even weaker, but promise buffs eventually... but not now. So Pantheon's only notable attribute is now weaker.
- Corki is getting nerfs to his damage
- Galio is getting nerfed damage, buffed durability

I came to a realization after a game today.

I've had several games with Amumu where we under perform early-game but end up winning 40+ minutes in.

I now believe that my team is suffering early game because I am a poor jungler. Yes, I can clear the jungle, and yes, my ganks result in kills more often than not.

But, many times, the solo lanes suffer due to my absence, and I don't notice. This can be fixed by better map awareness.
The second problem is not so simple: after the initial jungle clear, I start to fall behind in CS and levels. I think this is because it takes me forever to go places and people are usually whining for me to cover lanes, a fight breaks out, or something. Basically, there are lots of distractions and I fall behind on keeping every camp dead all the time. My being behind makes the whole team weaker in the teamfight phase, which results in less money for the team, which means we either lose or games are dragged out until we can build up enough farm.

So, I need to be able to get more camps while still doing the jungler jobs. I'm not sure how yet, though. It's probably a pathing and positioning problem on my part.

I mean, it'll make it harder for him to wipe waves in mid-game, so I'll need to maybe get a little more AP around then if I want to be able to continue to farm like a madman, but buffing his durability will make him a much better early game tank.

That said, because he built armor, that Rammus was the only thing that could stop me from obliterating their entire team of squishies, so, I don't even know. I only picked up that LW for the hell of it, not because I feared Rammus. You can't tell from the screen, but the enemy Caitlyn inexplicably kept using her ultimate on our Annie... when she was at full health, which is bizarre, given how good her KDA was.

Well uh

I could destroy their entire team in seconds except for Rammus (though Annie could also, and she did it better than me), and the rest of my team could destroy Rammus in seconds by themselves, so his "build to counter 1/5 of the enemy team" strategy didn't really work out for him.

Of course, you can't see that Rammus was constantly out of position and thus couldn't tank for his team, or that he tried to chase me when I was at low health without using his rolling attack, so there's more stuff going on than just his poor item build.

But they usually do build AD. So him getting early thornmail isn't completely idiotic.
Though FH would've been much better, IMO.
And I think Cole was talking about Cait ulting, but I might be wrong there.

Rumble so good. SO MOTHER****ING GOOD! Just won a game where I got reduced to 100 HP by an udyr gank while laning with a vayne, danced around as I chain chugged three pots, then turned around and scored a double kill on the enemy Singed and jungler! Man, he kicks so much ass! I'm on a huge adrenaline rush now - literally every lane I went to turned to gold. At one point, I went up against four guys, got nuked, chain-ulted + ignited with Gangplank to kill ashe, and just BARELY escaped a singed with karma's speed boost so that Leona could stun him. It was *amazing*.

But Irelia started by building tanky-ish stuff, it seems. Going "Oh, well she's prolly gonna get AD stuff soon" and preparing for it isn't an awful idea. Just a not-best one.

OPKaiser es #1, shield es best, never loose! Full AP Morde is STUPID strong if your team has the vaguest clue (my team's trundle did; my manamune rushing anivia, not so much). I'm pretty sure I oneshot ashe at one point with Mace of Spades. Makes getting ghosts soooooooo easy, especially after you have gunblade's slow.

I'm going to be busy this week.

Aw yeah Malzahar, I've been waiting forever for him to go on rotation. I like using Katarina, but I fear I'm not very good with her, and I know she's not a very strong champion, which kind of sucks. And Zilean again? What the hell, he's free like once a month. And no AD ranged carry, I can't remember the last time that happened.

And dammit, will Shaco never go on rotation?
