Help my Jax build, guys. It's currently:

Boots of Speed and Potions x3 against AP-heavy teams/Cloth Armor and Potions x3 against AD-heavy teams (sometimes more potions, depending on how many ranged champions they have)

Rush Ninja Tabi and ignore everything else
Guinsoo's Rageblade
Hextech Gunblade

Then what? I've tried Wriggle's Lantern for the ward jumping, but I haven't mastered that yet. I've tried Atma's Impaler, but I'm not really feeling it like I feel the Gunblade and Rageblade. I haven't tried more traditional options like IE, BT, and PD, though, they didn't seem right for him.

in my experience I've noticed that a jax with a large defensive item seems to be incredibly annoying to deal with

FoN, randuins, etc

I play Garen a lot and CC that isn't slow butchers me. They wait until I hit the Silence/Speed Up and then snare/stun me.

In team fights they wait for me to spin and then stop me in my tracks with CC.

People who build Jax more defensively (as like, hybrid offtank DPS) tend to give me the most trouble. Banshees Veil, early HoG might be useful, and Sheen (maybe build into TF if it makes it to lategame), Guinsoo's... The thing with Guinsoo's, though - I used to build it a lot on Nidalee, and sometimes I still do, but with Nidalee keeping the stacks up is really easy because she has 3 abilities with low cooldowns and don't cost mana. But forcing yourself to keep the stacks up can make you use an ability when it's not the best time to use it, so I highly recommend just ignoring that passive completely, and pretend the item doesn't have it.

What would be a good general build, though, after Ninja Tabi? When do I look toward BV? I kind of thought BV would be low priority since it's partly just MR, and Jax's ultimate gives him a ton of MR.

It also gives HP and an amazing passive, and mana.
Catalyst is an amazing item, so I would suggest getting the +180 Hp (475) on whatever crystal that is first. More HP is always great.

Guys, please don't be the tank that goes and insists on chasing full HP heroes half way across the map when we have two inhibs down while baron is down. We stole or killed half of the baron buffs. That's a win. Regroup and let the situation bloody reset. If you're so eager for a fight, they'll bring it to us, don't you worry.

Been playing a lot of Mordekaiser lately. Doing well, even.

MORDEKAISER #1.

Generally I've been starting with Revolver->FoN->Gunblade and then branching based on what the enemy team is good at and what my team does, getting Abyssal if they're weak on physical, Thornmail if their physicals are getting fed, or Sunfire/Warmogs/Abyssal otherwise. Is this the right idea? His damage output seems good enough without stacking a ton of AP really. Once I got the cloak and dagger when CC was becoming annoying but I generally don't even touch the tenacity stuff or banshee's.

I'd been using Rylai's in the past but it doesn't really seem that worth it since all of his attacks are only good for 15% slow.

(Kan I'm sure is just chomping at the bit to give Morde advice)

Don't buy FoN and don't rush to upgrade the REVOLVAAAAAAA unless you're positive you're gonna need the slow, try to gun for a Deathcap and Lichbane unless you need resists. Also, Hourglass beats Thorny because of huehuehuehuhehue massive shield gen (which is the trick to morde, only build as much resists as you have to because you'll just soak with shield most of the time). Otherwise, good work! You seem to have a handle on how to play the best dude on the game. :P

That lane was so silly and so much fun, I was the Sona. Neither of us could do anything to the other but we both tried so hard. Eventually Ashe reconnected, but was so low level she couldn't take over.
