I like the addition of K-Rod to the Brewers. I still think that he's a fantastic pitcher and that going to the Mets was just not a good move on his part. High-priced players always seem to underperform there

gotta post again about my buccos. Pitching is solid. I doubt were getting pence, but beltran, aramis, or pena would be worthwhile to pick up

starting pitching has been nothing short of amazing this year, but we might need another starter too. Hell id take another reliver as well.

But a bat is the most important thing.

ESPN did that for you, KCF -

Adam Dunn is hitting .158. That’s not a misprint. Yes, he draws some walks and has hit a few home runs. HE’S HITTING .158! Believe it or not, that wouldn’t be a major league record for a hitter who received at least 300 plate appearances. Bill Bergen hit .139 for the 1909 Brooklyn Superbas. Bergen is, quite simply, the worst hitter in major league history to have any kind of significant career. He had three extra-base hits in 346 at-bats that year and hit .170 in his 11-year career.

BJ Upton a possible trade... I wonder if that guy can get any better. He's such a low class bum that I really don't want him on the Yanks, but he definitely is a freak athlete, he'd be a terrific addition and tampa's a joke that can't afford him.

Hmmm

Maybe him and that Astros pitcher to turn things around. Yanks are on the precipice.

Tricky spot for TB. They're 6.5 back of NY in the wild card, 1 game behind LA, and a small market club. Do you trade now and hope for a better tomorrow? They unfortunately have no fans to alienate so whatever.

Kuroda wants Boston or NY. Outside of the NFL stuff I imagine that little headline will dominate sports talk here tonight.

he's not even really that good of a pitcher. He won't survive in the AL East, so throw the book at him if you want. I have a feeling the Yanks are gonna get Felix by tossing away some of the Double A prospects. Seattle has lost 16 in a row and is a laughing stock to the baseball world. Their idea of free agency moves involves milton bradley and other cheap ways to screw their fanbase, they had best stock up on young talent.

He can definitely be a very solid player. I always got the feeling from him that he just doesn't seem to care, kind of like Mark Reynolds. Not saying they don't care about playing the game, it just seems like they don't care if they make a mistake, strike out with people on, ect, ect.

Justin Upton is turning into a monster, I can't imagine BJ being that much worse than what Justin is, considering most scouts said they have enormous talent, Justin just has a bit more. Though Justin actually cares if he f***s up.
He'll be a good addition for any one who wants him, he'll be great if the coaching staff can get more out of him.

Its **** like this why baseball is losing popularity from everywhere not named philly, boston, ny. People are moving on to sports that actually IMPROVE their ability to get **** right. And its only getting more popular in those cities because of the bull **** advantage they have

I'm not even a Pirates fan and that call makes me infuriated. Saw it live and my head nearly popped off when I saw him call the runner safe. I've seen some BS calls from umpires looking to get out of extra innings or ninety degree weather, but never one this ridiculously bad.

The Braves radio play-by-play guy immediately named it the worst call he's ever seen. The guy doing the play-by-play for the team that won.

yea, i'm pretty sure I mentioned it with Milton Bradley before. Good point. 115 really isn't a lot considering how much revenue they pull. Lots of gonna be HoF players from that 90s staff, be they former or currently retired players, a nice stadium, pretty dedicated fanbase. The owners pretend to piss gold and the fans like para get mad when teams like PHI NY and BOS try to win by all means. Blame your owners, not us. Trade us Felix.
