Just buy something else if you already have a large portion of your net worth in BBIG. Remember, +100%, +100%, +100%, -90%, in series is a 20% loss. +100%, +100%, +100%, -90%, in parallel is a 53% gain.

BBIG isn't going to -90% from here though so it's irrelevant. I do plan to aggressively profit take as it goes back up but right now it seems like a no brainer to buy more.

Ultimately it's going to depend on where it is but yeah. Disney calls do have rather high upside at these levels so it's not bad to get some.

I knew I should have dropped a grand on stocks yesterday. I was under the influence of a prescription drug (for legitimate medical reasons) and I never let myself make financial decisions when I am, so I didn't.

Oh well. Still nice to see green today.

Ultimately I see it this way

I currently have about 15 grand in BBIG

If it goes to $0 (basically impossible, the only thing that can possibly go to $0 are my calls at certain intervals), well, it's basically like 4 months of work in the gutter. It sucks but whatever, I'll survive. I'm not investing my living finances on it.

My personal price target is $15-$20 in the very short term, by April 2022 at the latest. I think that's a conservative estimate-- I see upside as much higher, $40 into triple digits. No joke. Diversification is good but for the amount of money I'm investing, why not go for broke. It's not like I'm going to lose everything I have. Each spike I'll sell calls on every share I have (I have enough purchased calls to reclaim my shares if they're taken) and use those to slowly lower my position.

I don't have significant information advantage with Disney over most investors but I do with BBIG, so I should exploit that.

I promise I'll diversify when I reach the moon.

Oh okay. I think I just keep hearing about Moonroof and Blur putting in huge amounts on a stock and assumed the amount at risk in BBIG was higher.

Well portfolio size it's pretty high percentage. Like 80% now. I guess you could say I'm diversifying in terms that aren't the stock market.

The thing is I took a ton out around June to start my business. I'm also down over 50% on BBIG right now (shares aren't down 50%, but I have quite a lot into calls which are deep red right now).

If I put the majority of my "bonus" (from completing a project) in I can get it to around 18k. But yeah we'll see where we are vs my other things I've been eyeing.

Oof. Not sure if this means we have to go through a whole 'nother 60 day wait period, but I really hope not. Just super glad I bought a bunch of GOFF now to diversify my George Sharp plays. Money might flow from GVSI into GOFF when it goes current in the coming days.

Fuck, I wanted to sell stocks but I decided to let them ride. My cash position is actually larger than my overall investments (I was trying to buy property) but now might be a good time to change that.

One of my brokerages allows cash to be taken out and I took a margin loan of 35% of my portfolio before I can take less. I plan to invest that soon. I believe that we're about to hit a correction. I was zero margin, but I'm going to 35-50% with a large cash reserve in case I get margin called.

Unless you're looking to buy a house in the next year, I think it would be silly to hold onto cash. As long as you promise yourself not to sell on a loss, you'll be better off imo.

I was trying to buy, and my situation is complicated because it's technically the best time to buy for me (my income is inflated this and last year as an IT worker during a pandemic and expected to go down next year) but LA prices are astronomical. 300-400k for a 1 bedroom condo sometimes and I have the option to live at home for $450/month. I've spent a year in the real estate market.

I just have no idea if the real estate market will go down or keep going up like this. I'm worried that I'll be priced out of being able to work my stable government job.

GOFF is tradeable on TD. Flipped a tiny bit a few times today.

Hoping for close to a dollar on GOFF sometime this week. Hit .76 this morning. I'll sell half at .80 or so to secure gains and reinvest hopefully cheap and hopefully before merger announcement. No one knows when that announcement could happen though. All we know is Sharp took 8 days to announce the TSNP to HMBL merger after it went pink current.

Most of my individual stocks have either gone to 0 or losses. I earned a grand and lost it on SOFI alone in a month and only made a small $200 contribution in the meantime.

I only have gains remaining on these:
GS (+$18)
AMC (+$43)
ACI (+$895)

Most of my gains from the year have been eliminated and I'm about to start losing money.

I'm frustrated. But I guess it's time for me to just DCA if anything.

I know I can't buy a home and this is the only way I could maybe someday afford anything so I gotta keep going on this.
