GNUS appears to be acquiring a company. Stocks of companies doing the acquisition usually go down on the announcement, while the stock of the company being bought usually goes up.

Sold 14 at the violent dip to $4.70 to get back most of the cost because imo this dip is fake. Seen it too many times in bio stocks before positive catalysts

Still sitting on 47 puts. Feel pretty safe. Bought a few more 5c for next week.

Lol. I literally just bought 1000 shares of SNAP before coming into this topic. Then I sold 10 calls at $54 expiring today. Just trying to make quick money.

BBIG gradually moving up today. Logical time for form 10 filing and possible PR to drop is 530 ET today. If it doesn't by today's Post-Market, I am a bit worried. Tomorrow post-market is also possible which would hurt as it would turn my bucket of weeklies to dust but yeah.

There's too much pressure here. MM can't control it. The price will pop or flop depending on whether we get that form 10 today. For TYDE Dividend to be issued on December 27th it would need to be filed today.

You'll get what someone is willing to pay for it, which will depend on how much time is left until the call expires. Below the strike price you would lose money by exercising it so in all but the rarest situations no one's going to exercise it.

I'm sorry I think I read your post wrong. If the strike price is below the current price the call is already in the money and it could be exercised. Somehow I read it as saying the current price was below the strike price.

So if the stock is $32, but you sell a call at a strike price of $30, at any point between now and the date, they can buy the stock from you for $30, even if the stock price rises to $40. If instead the stock price falls to $25, they would have no reason to buy it from you for $30 when they can buy it for $25 instead.

lol i bought like 4000 of some bio pharma stock BRTXQ for like $100 a year ago and two days ago they did an exact 4000 to 1 reverse split. My stock was only worth like $9 so now my 1 stock has a cost basis of $9. Since the price is up to $13 it now looks like im up 45% when I'm actually down 90%

I like selling calls to exit positions but it has risk.

If the position falls to 9.50 you are better off than having not sold the covered call, but you are worse off than if you had just sold the stock at 10.10

ok i finally bitched out and sold my 45 Cloudflare shares at $195.50. Bought at $75, my most successful non meme trade so far.

Earnings next Nov 4. Will it keep climbing until then and break $200? will it collapse afterwards????

Fastly? It was at $113 at the same time i bought that NET, now it's at $50. It's up and down all the time, though it seems like it's been on an upward trend recently.
