It's a breakout day for Zoom. At last.

I think we're going to run at 3pm EST. Basically once Robinhood stops letting people do anything with options contracts we ride. Seems like it tends to go that way.

I have 18 3c that are already +100% at $3.12 cause I'm a degenerate gambler.

TD charges .65 a contract or I would have been tempted to gamble $500 on a hundred 4$ options that expire next week

Yeah. I don't really think too hard about contract costs-- just means you fork over $0.01 of profit on the contract basically. E-Trade charges $0.50 per.

Sitting on 18 3c for this week and 47 3.5c for next week. If we moon this next week I'll be a happy camper to say the least. Still think $4ish by end of day is plausible-- just wait till Robinhood locks out contracts in 15 minutes.

I wish Etrade hadn't been bought out so I could invest in them. This is exactly the attitude I like to see as an investor in a brokerage. That 50 cents per contract is a super profit center for the brokerage. If the customer doesn't mind paying it then I call that value added. Everyone wins!

I've paid hundreds to E-Trade this year on contracts.

Of course I prefer not paying but after Robinhood screwed me out of so many profits on AMC I just consider it insurance (also having full control through the entire trading day is really nice for situations like this-- RH I'd be selling my contracts now for a mere +100% when I feel like +1000% is possible)

Got out at a loss of $15 or so. Not bad

I wanted to sell some stocks in November but I got lazy. Big mistake. I was up $1000 on SOFI and now I'm down $300. Thankfully, I believe in that company long term. Still, sad that I lost a few grand by not selling.

I have a substantial cash position since I've been wanting to buy a home and I might just toss several grand into the market while the bloodbath happens.

Quite happy my portfolio is almost 50% ZM right now.

SOFI has taken a big beating recently. I sold my warrants part of the way through the decline after they announced they were forcefully redeeming the warrants so it was impossible to keep holding them. Anyway, it looks to be at a very nice price point now so I'm looking to get back in on the shares.

Crazy how, without even buying or selling, I was +$1,000 on SOFI and now I'm -$415 on it.

I'm going to average it down and then try to at least break even. I believe it's still undervalued.

I've placed a sell order after dividends for T, once I get to the break even level for that. I don't like how they're screwing retirees and breaking promises. I don't like to invest in companies that treat workers, current or former, unfairly. If I wasn't down on T, I would have sold.

In general though, I kinda feel like it's time for me to stop messing with individual stocks and go for ETFs. My ETF accounts are overperforming my individual stock account. It's mostly because I didn't have time to really swing trade due to work picking up and me wanting to spend less time doing this. It's been a fun year, but maybe I shouldn't let myself get so focused on this.

I always thought I'd just be experiencing a temporary dip!

Anyway, I do follow Warren Buffett's advice of "If you are not willing to own a stock for 10 years, do not even think about owning it for 10 minutes." All companies I buy are companies I'd be willing to hold for years, so if they fell, I'd still be okay with holding them because they'd go back up eventually or pay me a dividend.

Sold a bunch of FUBO to offset my gains for the year, hope it doesn't recover before I can buy back.

I expect a correction on that somewhat soon. Probably January. Hopefully BBIG gets moving before then.

Yes and I think it's quite reasonable to expect a correction on that. Buy the dip as they say.

OSTK looking tasty. Might have finally reached its resistance point. 12-month forecast has it around $110.
