Yeah I was moving at a blitz pace my first time through Stormblood, but watching others play it and it's just boring fetch quest after boring fetch quest for the first few hours. If I wasn't literally on a stay at home self vacation at a time I would likely have been frustrated. I know not everything can start with a bang like Shadowbringers, but still. You're at the end of it though.

Not so much North Korea, it's just a heavily militarily occupied city.

Woo finally got my Demi-Ozma mount! Primal Forays has some amazing callouts. It was great. Depending how well these drops sell, I might do BA more often.

Very easy. I just joined the discord, clicked on the role reactions "BA access" and "learn BA" and then you just get pinged when it's coming up. When it's time, you just go to the Private pf and they post the password on the discord. It's first come first serve. So it's not like you have to talk to anybody to get in or anything.

There's a discord for Aether DC too. They don't do as many scheduled runs as they used to, but the last few weeks there's been an organized run every 1 or 2 days. I'm 2 runs away from getting my healer gear fully elemental +2 and the final relic buff

Forgot about the alliance raids for Heavensward, whoops.

Did Void Ark and the Weeping City. Void Ark was pretty cool, but the Weeping City was fucking awesome. Lots of ominous messages from the alliance as we were on our way to the third boss, but that still didn't prepare me for the moment I saw fucking Ozma. The PTSD from that fight in a previous final fantasy came back in droves lol. Ended up dying right as he died somehow.

Also, this looks like Diablos from FF VIII, after watching his entrance in that cutscene after the Weeping City. He's pretty badass as well.

You should unlock and do the ARR dungeon Lost City of Amdapor and it's hard mode if you haven't!

Not only do I not get annoyed by a sprout on his first time Syrcus describing every mechanic in chat in detail having obviously queued in with a guide on his other monitor, clearly scared that this might be difficult, I think it's kind of cute.

But when I'm tanking Amon and you use Rescue on me literally the second Curtain Call starts counting down....I'm gonna act up.

I am on Faerie but I work from home full time and no longer have a social life so I will be reliable to do things with from now until I die probably.

Watched TheLastPeon's new video where he's going through the game and it unlocked the horrific surpressed memory that the first time I fought Ifrit I was a THM and only casted Ice.

I am also now remembering that I used to cast Repose in dungeons all the time and was getting annoyed that people kept attacking the enemies I had put to sleep.

Maybe this game DOES need more vocal mentors.

Just did this. Damn Diablos hits hard as hell. Healer fell right at the end, and we were all low health, but just got him.

Did my first ShB Extreme, finally. Started with the Throne of the Immaculate or whatever it is. Very refreshing to not need a phase 1, and I only died once, to the wide-angle slash.

Innocence EX is a fantastic first Extreme to do. Super forgiving (especially given current gear) but still a decent glimpse into what EX mechanics look like.

I'm already at level 6 and a half for every Shadowbringers tribe, ALMOST THERE.

Man, is Dun Scaith hard, or is it just me? Definitely died to each boss at least once (though none to Scathach somehow, but made up for it with two deaths to Diablos).

Yeah, I definitely need to read up on it better. Maaaany people died too, though we never wiped. I think I'd be better against Deathgaze Hollow next time. Those battles took quite some time too. It was a pretty cool ass dungeon though!
