I first got in in the .00s, around .0085 average (and I posted about in here btw, so you could almost have a ten bagger already if you bought at the right time that day). But a couple days later, I sold like an hour before Sharp tweeted, not because I wanted to dump it but because I wanted a .006 average or close to it. Being stingy is a bad habit of mine in the market.

Naturally I ended up chasing it above a penny because I knew it wasn't coming back down after that tweet. Then I sold some at .033 to secure profits from my new original investment (and a little extra) for the long hold.

I could've waited and sold more later for better gains, but patience is just easier for me when riding free shares.

Now my position is around 100k worth lol and barely any of the catalysts have happened yet.

And yeah I got back in on DKNG a little bit. This actually brought my cost average way up haha.

ETH, I dunno. I thought it'd be at like 5-7k in a few years, now I don't really know. It could be 5k soon, it could be 8-10k by the end of the year. Will it overtake BTC? Will it falter by a large % at 3am some day soon? I think I just have to calm down

I had the moral stock debate with myself earlier today, although for something less offensive. Mine was on the "homework help" website chegg (CHGG)

As an instructor, I've had to deal with more and more students using chegg to copy answers on their assignments. It's definitely widespread where I'm at (no doubt due to the switch to online learning), and I think the subscriber numbers are going to keep climbing now that more students are aware of it. Even with the switch back to face-to-face, I think it's here to stay and its value will go up.

I debated buying some shares this morning, even though the site has personally been a huge pain for me, simply because I thought I could make money off of it, and it seems to be at a relative low today.

I decided to just put that money in Cardano instead.

Mother F***er.

I got tired of waiting for the Cardano correction that I knew was coming, and as I mentioned earlier I sold my position at 1.72, and I was going to wait until a low 1.60~ price to expand my position for less than I cashed out at. And so for 36 hours I waited patiently, but ADA had legs and crossed the 1.80 threshold and showed serious resistance any time it neared 1.70.

And so I finally gave and I moved my 1.6101 buy order to 1.7001 which is still a (teeny tiny) expansion of my position from the 1.72 sell (1.17% increase hell yeah).

At this point I'm expecting it will gravitate back down to 1.70, but there were SO MANY buy orders parked at 1.70 that it seemed like a stable enough floor that had already rebuffed a couple attempts.

Within 15 minutes it falls to 1.6010 -_-

Which fine, I wasn't selling out of ADA forever and I was expecting a fall, but by moving my goal posts I turned a 6.8% gain into a less than 1.2% gain just before it was about to trigger.

Oh and now it's down to 1.55, it just fell a ton more.

I think when investing in individual companies, you have to be neutral about the company. Hating the company can make you think emotionally when it comes to buying and selling.

Supposedly, the best portfolios are the ones you forgot you had for like a decade and then go "oh yeah I have this old account" and then you see you gained a lot of money.

Happened to someone that bought a bunch of GameStop in like 2003 and then forgot about it until the GME short sqeeze this year.

Jesus FUBO was below 15? I should've put some buy alerts on that one. Looking to put a little of my free cash in something relatively safer.

Glad to see that Ethereum bounce back. The whales eat the dips in all my investments! I love it. Well, except poor poor IEA. Actually sold a bunch of my warrants recently over 2.50 and looks like I made a good call. Since I sold a bunch, I am hoping for $1 warrants at this point. Boom easy 5-10 bagger in time.

This has been my logic as well, which has led me to sell things that are still profitable and hold things that lose money.

Selling at a loss is fine if there's a reason that is more than just the stock price going down.

If you think something was a buy at $100 and it falls to $80 and nothing has changed that just means your timing was bad. If you think BYND is in a better spot now than it was when you first bought it then the bounce will come it's just people with more money than you trying to get you off the stock
