I think it depends how much attention you pay to the market and how much conviction you have.

When a stock starts just going down down down yeah the upside is there but realizing it who knows how long. If there's corrupt money in play you're waiting for maybe a year to get anything.

If you're not paying a ton of attention to the market at large and don't have need for the money that's not a big deal

Holding this much FUBO is a bit of a strain on me because of other opportunities I want to play being impossible without selling at a loss. I would hold even if it dropped to $5 because I don't need the money and I believe it'll hit triple digits eventually, but while I'm waiting for that I can't buy say AMD (which looks GREAT at this price) with the money

I read an article about some post-IPO stocks that took beatings but are fairly decent investments. One was AFRM, and so I put in 3 grand. Normally I'm okay with a big drop, just means I'm holding for a while. But I read about their business and it seems like something that there's really no way to get a competitive advantage and big companies like Visa and Mastercard can just offer the same service.

Hmm, I think these are decent prices to buy more, but if we don't hear from George before the end of the week on the filings, 3s would absolutely be on the table again. I'm still betting we get that tweet.

So far this is repeating the same pattern we saw last time - 50% green day on huge volume followed by two red days on very low volume, RSI gets decently reset, whales stay put on their massive positions. Total cult stock. I like it.

I don't think it holds above 1.80 all day.

I had a good time with cardano yesterday, bought several dips.

Then I sold everything at 1.82 and 1.83 and i'll try to buy back in around 1.75. I could probably wait for it to run down lower, but I want to have my position back in the event that I'm wrong and it continues to climb.

First level thinking tbh. When you see a sea of red you don't go "oh man my assets are down" you go "everything is red, it is time to buy quality assets for cheaper than yesterday."

Like my biggest ouchies haven't been from mass waves, it has been when I had faulty logic/things didnt go my way on risky assets.

No this is a big deal because for the first time ever Cardano's movement hasn't been explicitly tied to Bitcoin. It's promising for when BTC stabilizes and starts moving up again.

Yeah my biggest takeaway has been to always hold enough back to double down or triple down when the price falls. If all you did was the initial investment it might take ages to get above your original price, but it can quickly recover above your new buy in price once you've averaged it down a couple times.

If you invest your entire stack from the beginning all you can do is passively observe and hope for the best, but when you start with a small percentage of your overall stack you have the freedom to chase it down and dramatically decrease the amount of time to profit.

Released in 1999 it is one of the older sets, but the last time I looked at going prices for it I wasn't overwhelmed. Maybe it's worth more now.

There's pretty much no point to having money in Eth Classic if you're investing in Eth. It has nearly an identical trend as its pretty much people who are interested in Eth but don't understand crypto who are buying it. You should just put the money in Eth.

At least DOGE has its own backbone and can pay more in the right situations.

It's like playing roulette and betting on Red and then also putting a smaller bet on Red but accepting 10% less payout on that smaller bet for no reason. Just put it all on Red.

No, he's not. Again, people aren't actually looking at these things prior to posting.

ETC has had a much sharper increase than ETH during this previous rally, and it likewise fell more sharply than ETH.

I am a massive ETH proponent and I have a fairly sizeable stake in it already, so you don't have to sell me on that. But this is my play money and I think there is more short-term upside to ETC.

We hit 700% for a bit.
