Oh, that thing huh. Got me there I guess.

That's just one note, though. That movie is not good at all either way.

Though I guess me actively disliking it kind of contradicts my point of it being forgettable, too.

The answer is like Ghost Rider 2 but if we limit to MCU then...

Incredible Hulk is memorable due to everyone saying it's unmemorable
Iron Man 3 is memorable for being the black sheep of Marvel
Iron Man 2 is kinda similar to Iron Man 3
Thor 2 has a lot of haters
Most of the rest have some sort of following, or are an origin movie for a highly recurring character and thusly kinda memorable (Hulk excepted) by default

I'd probably say it's Captain Marvel honestly. I liked it more than a lot of the MCU movies but yeah. Maybe Ant-Man and Wasp though.

To be fair, I think it's less a case of Incredible Hulk being known for being unmemorable and more just a process of elimination. We've had people even admit to forgetting it exists. It's not really a Thor 2 situation where people immediately go "Oh yeah that's the worst." It's just kinda like "Well, if it's not Thor 2 or X or Y...... Oh, yeah, Incredible Hulk."

I dunno I'm just saying in discussions about Marvel movies Incredible Hulk gets a lot due to how unnecessary it is to the MCU and stuff

Compare to Ant-Man and Wasp and Captain Marvel which I've seen get almost no talk in any context and I'm thinking any publicity is better than no publicity.

And actually, I think the biggest part of it is that they've specifically made Hulk a character that appears in team-up and other character's movies, so it's easy to forget he has his own, especially when so much from it became completely irrelevant to the MCU.

That's fair. I just see it more as... Well, yeah, it gets brought up because people are specifically trying to find the answer, and when you go down the list, you can come up with reasons for mostly everything else and are left with Hulk.

Though yeah it's within those three.

it's not forgettable in the sense that i literally don't remember it, but out of the MCU ones i think it's the most "uh, well, that was a movie" movie. it was neither good nor bad, it was just there.

Incredible Hulk, Thor 2, and Iron Man 2 are pretty universally seen as the worst MCU films, so it's a bit too easy to pick those IMO. Of course they are the most forgettable. Everyone agrees.

For me it's Doctor Strange. I liked Cumberbund but his initial cocky attitude is a bit too annoying and his quirks aren't interested (like knowing when music debuted), and a lot of the plotting is really generic, especially the villain. The special effects are really cool but it's kind of the opposite kind of magic I'd have liked to see from a Doctor Strange movie. Less mysterious and magical and ominous, and more mechanical. It's the sciencey magic the MCU is known for, so it's consistent, but IMO not what the movie could have been.

Maybe the Multiverse of Madness will deliver.

Nothing that I posted has anything to do with a TV show. That all comes from Iron Man 1 and not taking everything Coulson says as literally as Drax would.

This is kinda funny since a major complaint about this movie is that it's too much about setting up the rest of the MCU

I feel like if you're going for most forgettable, it can't be a movie people hated. Hate provides too strong of an emotional connection. It's gotta be a vanilla movie that wasn't good but wasn't terrible either. It's gotta be something that inspires apathy through and through.

Either that, or it's just got to be something no one saw.

If we're going outside the MCU, then it would have to be the 2004 Punisher movie. Nobody seems to remember the three Punisher movies that were made, but whereas the 1989 Punisher movie was so bad that it's good, and War Zone is actually pretty underrated, Punisher 2004 is just boringly bad.

I don't agree that Punisher 2004 is very forgotten, since Thomas Jane is widely considered the best Punisher (especially since he came back for the short film, Dirty Laundry) and also it actually had a pretty big and successful soundtrack for the time.

I love how Board 8 has become such a cult that disliking ANYTHING against the grain magically becomes a hot take. I despise Nic Cage in everything hes in outside The Rock. He actively kills my interest the second he shows up. Its ok guys, someone else having a different opinion than you in a purely subjective arena like entertainment wont cause the world to end and wont kill you.

Someone from B8 just posted on my Facebook that they hated the last Tool album. Should I act the way you guys act and insult/ostracize him for years over it, or should I act like an adult and not care? Asking for a friend.

Thor 2 matters now guys, Endgame had a whole thing with it and Natalie Portman is coming back. It's right there in the thick of it.

I guess that's the thing about this big interconnected movie universe, something can seem irrelevant for years and then they can start bringing back old plot threads.

Anyway the real answer is Spider-Man: Far From Home because the Sony split means nothing that happened in it will ever matter again.
