Huh. Well, I don't have FFTA, but I do have A2, and that definitely deserves consideration, but...

I think I'm going to have to go with Gunstar Heroes for the GBA. I heard great things about the original game, and the GBA game ended up being a huge disappointment.

I own the digital version of Phantasy Star II

and because its digital, I'm stuck with it forever. Which was the only reason why I continued on and beat it




I own all 3 of the burger king games and they were at least enjoyable for a laugh or two. Thats more than what you can say for any legit bad games

Some people don't buy games they don't like. My worst game is Ocarina of Time because I gave Zelda faith to buy based on brand name alone at that point-- it's far from the worst game ever, it's just not very good.

a friend bought me a PS2 game called "horsez" as a joke and we played it together for like 30 minutes once. I can't remember exactly how bad it was but I'm sure it's down there.

recently bought a visual novel on PS4 called root letter because I thought it was root double and it was absolutely atrocious.

Maybe because some people don't buy any trash game they see and actually put some research before they buy something
I played a lot of trash games in my life but I can't say I bought them (I got them in..other means)
The only games I ever bought are some very old PC games (they did include some trash but I don't even remember their names), 3DS games and now I buy Steam games here and there

I would guess I have some trash that can be considered worse than La-Mulana in my Steam library (probably something from Humble Bundle that came along with something I really wanted) but I have yet to try them

I haven't played it, but going by reputation alone, I am sad to say that my GOG shelf includes Daikatana. It was in a bundle along with the Thief and Deus Ex games I actually wanted, and was promptly hidden and forgotten about until now.

I've also got Psychonauts for PS2. Now, don't get me wrong, Psychonauts is a fantastic game... but the PS2 port (at least the European release, apparently the US one is better) is an absolute trainwreck of barely-functional collision detection, making an otherwise superb title utterly unplayable.

Maybe Road Runner's Death Valley Rally

I've always been pretty discerning with my purchases. It's closer to mediocre than being outright bad. The music and level design is pretty terrible.

It would have been Ikari Warriors which I picked up from a thrift store for a quarter, but a cat pissed on the box it was in down in my parents' basement and destroyed it and an old stuffed animal.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out how the fuck to play that game as a kid. The game doesn't tell you how to do anything, and you have to do these complex button combos with perfect timing just to like open doors and fire your gadgets. There are tons of gadgets to pick from and I've only ever seen like one, because I literally have no idea how to use them. I think after much struggle I made it to level 3 once, but yeah, awful awful controls.

If you guys want to see humor, you should see the trials of speedrunning the SNES version of it by PJDiCesare.

Got to say though, there's a lot of amusing names in the game for the mooks and grunts.

That game is amazing.

For me uhh.... I dunno I enjoy all the games I own. If I don't I sell them. I guess worst would be one of the many generic shmups I own. Maybe Blue Rider.

I kinda loved that game as a kid. I was really into geography at the time and I was really proud to show my parents that games could be educational too. Never owned it, but remember trade-borrowing it from a friend. I'm sure he thought he was getting the better end of that one.

To answer the topic... probably Chrono Cross. Partly just to be a dick and throw shade, but also because I really love nearly all the games I've purchased.

I have all three of the Burger King games. (Big Bumpin'/Sneak King/Pocket-Bike Racer)

PBRacer is 'ok' but the other 2 are pretty terrible.

I've acquired some Steam games in bundles that I don't care about enough to ever even try but most probably aren't terrible.

There's a few stinkers that were included in compilation games. Street Fighter I probably "wins" there among those I've put any serious time into.

Tamagotchi on Game Boy was acceptable when I was a kid but is pretty bad now. Conker's Pocket Tales was fairly bad overall, too, and even without Mako Islands in there to totally ruin the game it'd still probably be the worst Action-Adventure game I've played. I bought Chicken Run on GBC for some strange reason back in the day and barely played it but I recall not liking it. I did put some time into Sim Earth on SNES, didn't understand a lot of it, but am pretty sure the game's not good no matter for much of it you grasp - music is good though.

My sister bought a few games I now have possession of that I don't really care about. Pokemon Channel is probably the worst of those; it's barely a game and I don't recall it being a good non-game either.
