Assassin's Creed Syndicate

I usually buy games that I know I'll eventually play when they go on big sales, so I ended up picking this up a little while after it came out. It's been at the very back of my backlog since then because I'm generally tired of Assassin's Creed, but I decided to get it out of the way.

I actually ended up enjoying it, despite my feelings towards the series. They made a bunch of quality of life improvements that made parts of it much less tedious. I still only finished the main story quests, though, because after playing every single mainline Assassin's Creed game, I no longer have any interest in sidequests.

Atelier Ayesha Plus: The Alchemist of Dusk

The original PS3 version came out over 4 years ago and it's still very good now. Played on Hard mode (only in the Plus version) and still managed to hit every event and get all trophies possible up to that point. As for the Album added in the Plus version, I finished all the pictures except the last two. That, and getting the bad ending, will be a task for the next play through. I finished with the Keithgriff ending, which leads into the sequels, to start my NG+ and I'll be going through the rest of the endings over the next few days for trophy streak purposes.

Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart

It was better than Neptunia Re;Birth 2 but not by much. The characters and story were as fun as ever but there were so many bad design decisions in the gameplay. At least I'm finally done the two long RPGs I was playing, my slate is temporarily clean!

I've been slacking on this because I've been taking my time with Mafia 3, and playing a whole bunch of Disc Jam.

I was debating whether I should put Disc Jam in under the sports category, but like most sports games, there's no way to "beat" it, so I'm unsure how to judge when it would qualify. I have gotten all of the achievements in it, though, so maybe that means something.

Still not quite done with this one since there's postgame content to do, but now that I've beaten the main story it's finally time to post in this topic again! I'm definitely going to need a bit of a break after this to clear up some shorter games from the backlog before I start any more super-long RPGs (which'll probably be Zestiria and the Ar tonelico II retranslation next, in some order).
