Fire departments have quite a few people out and about doing various things. They don't (at least if properly maintained) just sit around doing nothing unless they're sleeping.

I'd assume actually removing the statistics requires a lot more backend work than they could perform at the time, so it's probably just not displayed.

It depends on the person. There are people struggling every day of their lives, and there are people who just fuck about and somehow manage to subsist on nothing while putting no care into actually giving their kids what they need.

Nah, story is fine outside of the parts where it shits all over Trigger. Everything mostly makes sense.

It has some unfulfilled potential, but I'd say it's quite great. The only part where it fails is in its function is as a sequel. It's a dogshit sequel in every aspect.

I wouldn't really call any of them outright bad, but the Hulk is definitely the weakest.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Women constantly complain constantly speak up and always get told to sit down and stfu. The gaming industry is hostile towards women by design and gamers continue to treat it as though it should remain that way. Be it making women weak fan service characters or allowing sexual harassment to keep on. Anytime they speak up they get told "But not all women" and told to shut up.

Would you argue that there should be zero fanservice in any game? If not, is there acceptable fan service?

Shitty is a bit too far, but it's something that was plagued by so many problems that failure was inevitable.

This must have to do more with some kind of license renewals rather than server costs right? I cannot imagine that it's that expensive to continue hosting the servers, and I'm sure they must get enough sales that it at very least wouldn't come as a net loss.

While pretty basic, Masters adds a good amount of interaction between trainers.

I'd love it, but I doubt it'd work well with Nintendo's recent generification practices.

It's fine to an extent to criticize certain outdated tropes or stupid trends. I think the crusades against specific games are getting a bit old at this point. It doesn't render them immune from criticism, but some people do need to realize there is a market for stupidly gratuitous sexualized designs and there is a market for whatever some western developers are doing with their character designs.

It'd be neat if they were lying and just stealth dropped it one day as an actual fangame. It definitely does a much better job at displaying a unique aesthetic without looking kind of eh like Link's Awakening and BDSP.

What??? Mar's problem is that it has no magnetosphere to protect the planet from solar radiation. Any atmosphere that wants to form is largely stripped away by the solar winds. Mars colonization must either be in bubbles, subterranean, or terraformed by somehow re-igniting the Martian core so that it builds a magnetosphere.

Something about melting the polar ice caps. I think an article determined it'd be "feasible" if we nuked it with like thousand of nukes per day for a long period, but, aside from being unrealistic to pull off, that'd also mean it's fucking radiated to shit as well.

I think I recall being spanked one time when I was like four or five, but I think he really disliked it because I don't recall any other instances.

If anything is going to be paid for by the government, I've always felt like M-F 7AM-6PM childcare should be top priority for that very reason.

I understand the necessity for accuracy for navigation, but I've never understood why it's also so common among just general display maps. I'd take a slightly less accurate generalized map for more accurate relative scale. It's not like you're going to be doing any navigating on a generic map.

The most vocally bitchy are always the most annoying regardless of side, but the side that wants to stick to the original is generally correct regardless if they're being stupidly snotty about it or reasonably voicing their annoyance.

Pretty much. I'll still watch something that seems interesting, but the grand overarching thing feels like a one and done deal. It'll still make its billions, but I don't know if they'll ever reach the same levels with the current lineup.

I think it's something that can work for some specific people, but the majority of the time it's people who simply cannot think about long term consequences or people who ultimately fool themselves into thinking it's an actual solution to their relationship issues.

They have the same issues of being massively underwhelming in certain aspects compared to what franchise the size of Pokemon should be able to put out, but it seems like Legends is a much needed breath of fresh air on the franchise and does have a lot of charm that S&S lacked.

Elon is a vaporware merchant who has done pretty much nothing that has actually had any real merit whatsoever. Every major promise is unfulfilled, and he has no clue as to what he's talking about most of the time. The most he's done is repackage existing tech and then fail on his promises to revolutionize them.

So this would be stupid criticism of a proper study, but it's likely proper criticism of anything he has his hands in.

There is no such thing as "safe for animal testing" beyond simply making sure you have a viable model and you're not wasting time. You test things on animals to get a feel for how it will react with humans. Nobody is saying that we should put animals through unnecessary suffering. I'm sure there have been pointlessly cruel experiments on animals and animals that have been mistreated even when it's not necessary to the study. But that doesn't mean there isn't massive benefit when you can correlate their suffering to actual advancement.

For some things, you need to work out a ton of different shit before we make it to even being slightly safe to begin human testing. Suffering should be to a minimum, but I'd sacrifice ten thousand monkeys to extreme suffering and pain to let a single paralyzed child walk again. Though that would be under the assumption that it's viable tech. Lambaste this shit all you want because Musk is a putz.

If it's for proper scientific advancement, I don't really care that much about the suffering of a few animals. If it's for some eternal fratboy's pet project that'll end up devolving into a laptop backpack or something equally stupid, then it's probably not proper scientific advancement.

Depending on the rates in your area, might just want to try proper carpet cleaning. There are small ones you can rent, but I always hear mixed results.
