Only bill is credit card. Live in big city don't really need a car.

$1333 per month before taxes. Not sure how much tax is taken out. Not terrible, not great, especially with other expenses such as food.

It's more than I get per year, and I don't actually earn that. From my perspective, you're fine.

Get $250 A month from food stamps so don't have to spend much on food unless I feel like eating out everyday

But I guess anything is fine if you are able to live within your means.

I would argue if you have zero expenses that's good

because it's just $16,000 that flows into your pocket with minimal tax burden. Against zero expenses that's just spending money.

Full time, not even if you have no real expenses. Part time, fine if that meets your schedule and needs.

is that pre or post tax? that's like $7 an hour full time, which is obviously as low as it goes.

Depends on where you live.

In my area it's absolutely decent. In NYC probably not

It's basically both

the first 10k isn't even taxed and the tax rate on the next 6k is negligible

So it's both pre and post tax lol

Generally speaking, no. 16k is horrible.

For your situation though, you have no rent, no utilities, no car/insurance, plus food stamps. At that point, that's pretty much $1,000 - $1,200 of disposable income per month. So that's actually pretty good.
