I may be making a leap here, but I really do not think that the writers planned for "Henry Gale" to ever be the leader of The Others. After all, why in the world would Ben be doing grunt work on the main island, and why would he be dumb enough to stumble into one of Rousseau's traps? My assumption is that Henry was going to be revealed as an ordinary Other on a recon mission, but after seeing how insanely good Michael Emerson's performance was, they elevated Ben into a bigger role that would span the series. Whatever the story may be, it sure as hell paid off in dividends.

I'm pretty sure the creators came out and said this was the case.

I had seen Agatha Harkness thrown around as a possibility, but I have no knowledge of the character, so just "Oh it's Agatha Harkness!" had no impact on me. Like oh okay. But luckily that's what the theme song is for, and I look forward to seeing what she's gonna do next week. Also yay Darkhold from Agents of SHIELD!

I had also seen people speculate about Mephisto or some House of M comic storyline as possible explanations too. I'm not familiar with those either, but who knows, maybe it's not too late for all of the above?

Aww yeah, got my first dose. My partner was supposed to get his second dose today too, but the Moderna shipment was delayed due to Texas weather. He's rescheduled for next week.

The wait was almost non-existent, which surprised me. I think the Moderna delay probably helped with that, since all Moderna second doses would've been turned away, so less people in line. But even then, it was still so fast. I take this as a sign that it's probably about time for Nevada to move on to the next phase of people.

They put KOS-MOS in Xenoblade 2, so even if they don't fully own her, whoever does (Namco?) is still open to letting her be used in a Nintendo-owned property.

Project Triangle Strategy came out of nowhere and looks so good. Hopefully the final name is something other than just dropping the "Project".

It's still so far off though that I don't really wanna play the demo yet. I'll let others send off the surveys and hope for the best.

I would've much preferred Rex as like a Pokemon Trainer style character. Give him, Pyra/Mythra, Roc, and Nia___. Yes of course it's dumb to spoil that third one, but Smash does enjoy spoiling Xenoblade so it's tradition.

Alternatively you could spoil it in a different way by giving him Pyra/Mythra and some combination of Dromarch, Brighid, or Pandoria.

Or just give us Tora and Poppi and everyone wins.

She's one of the 30-something optional Blade characters that due to RNG shenanigans, the player may not ever actually encounter. But yes she's real and ridiculous. She even has a southern drawl accent.

So Project Triangle was the only new game that really wowed me. Those Mana and Saga remasters might be cool. Disappointed there were no follow ups on SMT, Neo TWEWY, MH Stories 2, or Rune Factory. I can only imagine there will be another Partner Direct in the near future then.

Also can't help but notice they announced multiple 2022 games but nothing for 2021 Q3-4. Guess they're waiting for E3 or something for those. I mean I know they flat out said games focusing on the first half of the year, but then they included 2022 stuff anyway, so lol. And obviously there's probably Pokemon for November to maybe be announced at the end of the month.

Warp Pipes in Animal Crossing tho, oh yes.

It's weird to feel disappointed by this when I already know 2021 is going to be amazing for Switch RPGs anyway. Like I don't really need any more announcements, lol.
