Oh that makes things simpler.

It kind of annoys me that all the Colony 15 people apparently spread throughout the world, because now I feel compelled to look up where they went so I can talk to them all and figure out if there's quests to do. Did they just visit other colonies or are they literally anywhere? The affinity chart shows the people I already met are likely to be around Mu or City, I guess.

...as if I'm not already going back around the world to beat up all the UMs (and looking up where the ones I passed over originally that I can now beat up for the first time).

Still exploring Cadensia, but I think I'm on the last major island and I just stumbled into Jurassic Park. Also I'm pretty sure a container just vanished, and even turning the game off and on didn't get it to reappear. I'm like 99% certain I saw that the level 78 unique bird monster was guarding a container on the very tip of a cliff, but after dying a number of times in the area, it's now gone.

lol yeah, even if the average viewer is that old, if they're watching CW, presumably it's because they like CW shows. Getting rid of the CW shows seems like a good way to get rid of the average CW viewer.

When they first announced regional forms for Alola, I thought it would be perfect to have non-fossilized Kabuto and Omanyte. Like with the perfect tropical climate, they never went extinct or something.

I would say I don't expect them to revisit that theme, but then again I never expected them to add more Regis or genies either.

No new fossils. I think that was early information that should've made it into my first post.

It's possible this also includes paradox Suicune/Virizion, which are apparently in the game files but not in the base game (likely DLC). I'm not sure if they're supposed to be part of the 16 total paradox forms or not.

According to the Khu, this is the breakdown of the new Pokemon (not in Pokedex order).

105 total. 8 3-stage lines, 21-22 2-stage lines, 31 1-stage lines/legendaries/paradoxes.

I think the Es represent the 5 cross-gen evos, which you could say adds two more 3-stage and three more 2-stage lines.

I think the S and V are Koraidon and Miraidon, since there's six spots after the Es to reflect the six legendaries.

I think the bottom row is the 16 paradox forms, with the TBDs being the last two the leakers haven't specifically named yet.

It's like I was punished for how lucky I got yesterday.

I guess I've committed myself to mapping out the Cadensia region manually. I've done the boundary and just about fully explored every bit of land it touches, plus the sandy island. Just didn't get the whole level 95 tunnel area. The audacity of there being semi-large water areas the boat can't get to. The superboss with absurdly good eyesight killed me three times while I was trying to swim the Aegis Sea. Sure would've been appreciated if Mu had faster swimming unlocked in the first three tiers. I also wish the boat controls were a little less wonky.

I love that they added gulkins and meringas.

Lmao, the Niranira quest. Level 48? Easy. Oh okay, this island has level 60s, that's okay, i can maneuver around them. Oh god they pop out of the sand everywhere, okay I can outrun them. Oh god it dropped me into a pit surrounded by spiders.

Luckily I was leveled enough to kill the spiders, but the first time I tried to run from them too, but it looked like the only way to outrun them was to jump off a cliff, which means you can't get back to Niranira without dropping down the hole again and re-aggroing the spiders. Is it even possible to talk to Niranira without fighting the nearby spiders?

Yeah, Scoredle says there were 7 possibilities, but 6 of them are "technically these are words" that would never be used. Very lucky first guess.

The salt Pokemon is a Rock type and the scarab beetle is Bug/Ground.

Also mentioned yesterday that the three Tauros forms are black, red, and blue. Khu says we can discern their types from that, so probably Fighting, Fire/Fighting, and Ice or Water/Fighting.

The best thing for Krookodile is to get into Unite so it can get a bunch of neat costumes.

When asked again about how many new Pokemon there are, Kaka now says 103-106, significantly down from when he said 120-140 before. \_()_/

Khu says there's 45 different lines (seems to be including the 6 legendaries) + 5 cross-gen evos + 16 past/future Pokemon (I guess they're being referred to as paradox forms at the moment).

Perhaps the 120-140 included form changes. It's still confusing though, because 106 total implies Primeape evo's National Dex number wouldn't be over 1000. 106 puts us at 1011 total Pokemon, and the last 22 spaces would almost definitely be for the legendaries and paradoxes. \_()_/

For Zeon, you have to have him in the party while visiting Colony 9. There was another Kite-is-a-dipshit quest at the start of the chapter, and then Zeon's quest was available after that.

Oh boy, my first party member ascension quest. Also I'm confused how someone did Gray as their first one because this is my third and I still don't have that one. My first was Zeon, and then Alex (though level wise, most people would probably be unable to do that one as it became available), and now I'm doing Eunie. I think I can also go back and do Valdi now, but it might take a bit of work.

They're all said to be single-stage with high stats, and one of the leakers likened them to Ultra Beasts. There's supposed to be an odd name to their classification, but I don't think it's just "past" or "future".

Correct.

do we know if there are in-battle changes from this or is it the same as a regional form?

They're supposedly completely separate Pokemon with new names and Pokedex numbers. I guess the idea is they've changed so much over time that they're no longer classified as the same Pokemon from the present day (even though the two we've seen in the leaks don't really look any more different than usual regional forms).
