I don't think you can recruit Umaro without Mog. IIRC if you beat him without Mog, he just kinda sulks in a corner until you come back with him.

It's not post-game. The bonus dungeon opens up once you kill the eight dragons. (not plot spoilers, just maybe in case you want to be surprised I guess)

You won't see Deathgaze on the map, IIRC it just sits somewhere invisible on the map and you start the fight if you bump into it while flying. And when it flees, it moves somewhere else.

Last night I dreamt I was playing basketball, only I kept switching between being human and a Pokemon, and the best player on the opposing team kept getting so mad every time I used String Shot to steal the ball from him. After waking up I could only think and wonder why there aren't any Pokemon sports spin-off games.

I'm just kinda lukewarm on the sitcom aspect so far, so I hope things escalate soon.

I'm also surprised the episodes are so short. I guess they don't want the time investment to be too large that it's alienating, since this stuff is actually going to tie back into the movies somehow.

Having the entire island to terraform and decorate is like the biggest change the Animal Crossing series has ever had. It's certainly not perfect and post-launch support has been more lackluster than I would've hoped for, but to say it's just the same old thing is ridiculous.

Speculating here, but it looks like the Pokedex has some sort of catalogue of different behaviors that you may possibly have to capture yourself.

And don't forget about the Album from the first game where you could save any photos that weren't part of your score submissions; I'm sure that that feature will return in a probably bigger form.

Oh yeah, I did see one of the tweets mentioning that as you fill up the Pokedex, you'll start seeing new things when you revisit old levels. But yeah that screenshot is pretty promising.

The first game was small in content but due to its structure was a very good high score game (some people still play it competitively to this day). With more content the replayability scales up massively. Even if there are """only""" 200 Pokemon in the game, that's enough to be essentially endless score chasing considering how long a mere 63 were able to last people.

Yeah but there's also the chance that more Pokemon means less effort put on each one having interesting and diverse interactions, which would then hurt replayability. It's a valid concern, but something reviews should be able to clear up. But like you said, there's no point in dwelling on the negative possibilities when there's nothing to suggest it'll be bad or lifeless.

I don't know if I'll really want to get it. I'll have to wait for reviews/WoM first I think. I'll probably need a good sale, which won't be for a long time.

Wonder if there will be DLC. Adding new courses over time just seems like the most obvious thing they should do with it.

Not only is there a lot of content in running around recollecting the party, but the WoR also contains a bunch of optional areas and scenes, plus a whole lot more espers to collect. So even after you reunite the party, there's still a good amount left you can do before beating the game.

IIRC that guy talking about four espers is referring to the new ones that were added in the GBA version.

Like we've seen video, newspaper articles, photos, as well as countless videos of ertyu's passion over a several year long period. Trey Mcalexander is real.

It would make more sense that vlado is ertyu's alt than vise versa.

I thought it was just ertyu's most recent account that people thought was Vlado. That he didn't actually come back and Vlado was just impersonating him. Or that other guy from Vlado's blog I forget the name of.

Dang. Yeah there seemed to be two categories of wait times, the ones who got the code after 2-3 hours, and then there were people waiting for 7+ hours with nothing (and now cancellations?). If anyone still hasn't heard one way or another, perhaps the best thing is to call Walmart support. I've heard other people doing that and being told they've had the fraud/suspicious activity flag removed from their account, but that it could still take another 24-48 hours for the order to process.
