Uhh, I'm going to watch Flip Flappers first before I go into Steins;Gate. I wanted a 1-cour before going into something heavier. I've only seen the first episode, but it's pretty surreal. Much nani kore. It has some nice animation sequences. Also, yuribait, or actual yuri, probably the former.

The studio 3Hz who made Flip Flappers, says it's their goal to make original anime. I heard Princess Principal of this current anime season which is from them, is good, but I'll watch it sometime later.

Anime Strike (i.e. Amazon) has acquired all seven Kara no Kyoukai movies (as "The Garden of Sinners") for streaming. ... I am impressed. Might have to sit down and have a good watch.

The movie series might just be my favorite anime.

I finished Honey and Clover, and it was good. Soft spoilers The show has a lot of aspects are very grounded, and it really reflects how life is so bittersweet and often unsatisfying without illusions. I'm guessing why some people can dislike how it wraps up; I'd say we're too coddled and used to having endings that always aim for satisfaction. The ending hits home for me in a roundabout way. Pretty much of the memories of the past decade of my life, I would recall the unsatisfying ones that are seated with regret, despite the existence of the fond memories. They amount to little, but all ultimately help shape who I am, for better or worse.

All in all, it's quite unique of a show, I'm glad I watched it.

You've seen drawings of anime stuff, and think "It's mostly crude and truly amateur, and the only thing commendable is the effort to make it and courage to share it". I think it's a few steps above that, and there's just a sheen of crudeness.

I think the bent cloud eyes are unfitting; Everything else is pretty fine.

Your standard battle royale game. Well, there's nothing better of it out, so it's king. Spurts of heart pumping action, and long lulls of looting and running around. It's like if you took the perks of a casual and competitive game and mixed it. Equal parts skill and luck. You can be super skilled, but happenstance kills you, or super lucky, and kill much better players. Similarly, depending on skill, it's possible to clutch out of a bad/unlucky situation, or squander opportune moments.

Gameplay is novel and thus extremely attractive. But only time will tell what will carry the game with age. I'm certain AAA developers/publishers have their interest piqued, for better or for worse.

I've been putting off Haikyuu and Jojo for quite some time, waiting for more to come out.

Jojo part 3 was by far, the funnest anime to watch an episode weekly. And the coolest thing about Jojo I think, is how different structurally and stylistically each arc is while still being Jojo to it's core. I'm saying each arc gives the feeling of a new anime, though it's not. Jojo is way more about it's style and bombastic-ness rather than story. There's 113 episodes out. You should look into it now.

Chicken noodle soup, Simmered a half eaten rottiserie chicken for 1.5 hours, bones and all. Pasta Noodles (spiraly ones), carrots, celery, onions, spiced with garlic, basil, peppercorns, thyme, and rosemary. I ate it straight out of the pot like a man. Stuff was so rich, it congealed when I put it in the fridge.

I am disappoint. It's one thing to go at a nonlinear narrative with chronological order after consuming it once, but it's totally different as a first experience. You're basically dumpstering the author's intent and craft for your own "convenience". You miss out a great deal of context and pacing that the author purposely fabricated.

Kizu is a film series intended to be right after Bake, but was released between owari and owari s2. Also, the LN author said you can get into the series with Kizu, so it's not actual blasphemy to watch the prequel first.

I heard the novel of Welcome to the NHK is quite significantly different from the anime. There's a bunch of themes/points that the anime doesn't cover because they were dark/taboo for TV, and the anime took liberties to leave a positive message.

There's also the trivia the success of the author's novel only fueled his ability to continue living as a shut-in.

Dunno. I'm 27 and still legitimately enjoy playing with Lego and they're generally for kids 3-8.
