Seems like a fad, but thats just my hipster side talking.

Your standard battle royale game. Well, there's nothing better of it out, so it's king. Spurts of heart pumping action, and long lulls of looting and running around. It's like if you took the perks of a casual and competitive game and mixed it. Equal parts skill and luck. You can be super skilled, but happenstance kills you, or super lucky, and kill much better players. Similarly, depending on skill, it's possible to clutch out of a bad/unlucky situation, or squander opportune moments.

Gameplay is novel and thus extremely attractive. But only time will tell what will carry the game with age. I'm certain AAA developers/publishers have their interest piqued, for better or for worse.

decent enough to play, ping is usually in the 60-80 range though

nope two time zones over

I realized after I was mostly done with this that I should've bolded the answers and not the questions. I'm not really trying to get you to get me the game btw, though I wouldn't turn it down. As Lokarin said, you shouldn't worry about getting banned unless you cheat.

If you're actually interested in the game though, you should probably get it now, rather than later and experience it while the community is booming.
