Yeah, I have a gaming PC and a PS4 but I gotta say that the PC versions of games almost always end up being better unless it's a bad port, I honestly wasn't expecting this new Monster hunter to look so good, I've dabbled in the series before and came away with mixed impressions of it but this new one looks really nice

I forgot to chime this in, but if you're looking for something to listen to, there's this twitch streamer who's played piano nearly all his life. Viewers can pay for song requests and he'll improvise a cover. Of the typical requests, 1/3rd are usually vidya game related, 1/3rd anime, 1/3rd other music. Sometimes if there isn't anything in the queue, you can say something like "play something from Zelda", and he'll do a tune.

Overall I found it enjoyable, though I disliked one aspect of it. Main girl is pretty great though.

My PC is even worse, only plays things up to 2006 expect for Mount & Blade warband & then a couple of newer freeware stuff like Cataclysm DDA.

I might get a better PC one day, but since I mainly play on Consoles & Handhelds I don't see much point.

My pc is running a q6600, 4 gigs of ddr2, and I have a 7750 for the gpu. I really need an upgrade and have been looking at a cheap mobo/cpu/ram combo and will probably go with it, unless I can get some more funds. Was given a copy of pubg and can't even play it, feels bad.

This probably doesn't help, but the prices of mid-high range GPU's cost like 50% more than usual because of high demand caused by the cyptocurrency craze. The low of the midrange or the upper high end GPU's are unaffected and are their usual price points though.

Also, the price of ram have stagnated for years and then gone up because of smartphones eating at the market.

And also, Intel has been padding/fluffing their release cycles. In other words, a new CPU generation isn't leaps ahead of its previous generation. We're within the decade of being unable to manufacture circuits/transistors any smaller because quantum mechanics come into play, and electrons are able to bypass walls that are normally impassable by conventional physics.


As a PC gamer, Feelsbadman. But at least SSDs keep getting cheaper, which is nice.

Yeah, thankfully Ryzen seems to be an actual alternative to intel's offerings. If I have to go ultra cheap, I'm going to get a 1200, if I can get a better budget, I'm gonna go with a 1600x. Even if I have to go with the 1200, it's still quite an upgrade from my very old q6600.

If I have to do a super cheap upgrade, I'm going to have to stick with my 7750 for the time being. It's a low end card, but it should be fine until I can get something better. Your 960 should be quite a bit better than it.

Yeah I'm sitting here with a gtx 780 and then a meh i5 cpu and only 8 gigs of ram. Plays most things but this last year I'm really feeling its age. I hope to at least get more ram before too long, i have open slots.

The manga is one of the best series JUMP has had in a long time.

The main reason is that it ended at the right point and wasn't plagued by horrible padding and dragging on for too long that other JUMP series usually do.

Another point is that it establishes a distinct and clear goal right from the start, and every arc builds upon each other in order to reach that goal. So you get a clear sense of progression as you read it.

Thirdly, the characters are all memorable and distinct. Unlike say, Bleach, where every arc introduces upwards of 20 new characters that either get killed or forgotten every time; it focuses on one classroom's students and their interactions, so each character gets a "moment to shine" and fleshes them out as unique indiviudals.

And lastly, it's just unique! Where else can you find a manga about a moon-destroying tentacle monster crossed with GTO, training up a class of high-schoolers as assassins in order to eventually kill him?

You should definitely check it out.

Do you think they'll ever make a One Punch Man game? In theory it would be so cool but I'm not sure it would actually be possible to emulate the insane action of the anime in video game form... Its just too much.

I'd imagine it as an openworld hero type game (Kinda like Prototype, Infamous & the open world Spiderman games) but staring Saitama & taking place in the OPM universe. Maybe you could also play as Genos? To emulate the epic proportions of action in the anime, maybe they could implement a sort of "bullet time" ("OnePunch time"?) that allows you to slow down the action so your able to react at the same speeds as Saitama. I feel the game would revolve more around spectacle then anything else.

You should play as Genos. Being a cyborg, upgrade options make a lot of sense. Then, you get your ass kicked by all the game's bosses and Saitama saves you in the end. As Genos, you're beating up trash mobs and sub bosses, while advancing the story.

OK, so I'm at the part in Shippuuden where Kakashi comes up with the idea to have Naruto train by making shadow clones to speed up the process. I get that only Naruto can make enough clones to speed up the process by hundreds but at this time, Sakura could have found out her element as well. And while she can't makes hundreds of clones, She could make a few and speed up her own training process right?

nah, I forgot that the shadow clones spread the chakra evenly so you have to have vast amounts of chakra to do the training. That's how they made it so only Naruto could do it.

If we're talking PC specs then I have to say that my "old" one was pretty bad, it couldn't play anything past maybe a few pre-2010 games which is why I got a new one earlier this year, before I go into the specs I should mention that I was looking for a PC that would be able to play any game @1080p 60fps+ at max settings and would remain able to do so for the next 5 years at least.
Said specs are: Intel [email protected], GTX 1080 and 16gb of ram running on Windows 10 (meh)
It cost well.. lets just say a fair bit but it's good, not having to check whether I can play new games anymore is a pretty cool feeling and the amount of money you can save buying PC games is nice too

All I can say is that it's worth saving up to get "fancy" because the experience is worth the effort

I've yet to get a PC that could play current games at max settings. And I mean current to whenever I bought that PC. Usually I aim to be able to play them on medium or something like that. Like right now, this current PC can play most games medium to low settings. But I stream and want to expand the games I can play. I can stream now but I have to lower the settings even more just to be able to do that.

While I'm not trying to play current games on ultra or max settings, I do want to be able to play them at least at medium to be able to stream them.

Right now I have a i3, I want to get at least an i5. I only have 4 gigs of RAM, I need to increase that to at least 12. I need a bigger case and a bigger motherboard to go with it. The only thing I don't need is a gpu.

I'm not sure where to start, to be honest. I mean, I have a gpu, but then what should I look at first when starting to get the parts? Case and motherboard? cpus? I'm thinking I should see the case size I want then pick a motherboard and cpu that are compatible with my gpu.

I'm willing to save up to $1000 if needed but spending less than that would be very much ok with me XD

I get the feeling that my 2012 laptop -- this one is AMD, not Intel -- is going to be my companion for a long time to come, but I have been hoping to upgrade for at least the past year. I can do VNs and RPG Maker games, but there are other titles on Steam that I hope to at least be able to try. As it is, I am annoyed that my machine can no longer handle most streaming video sites, considering that my tablets can do that with no difficulty.

I'm really just glad my laptop can run Sonic Mania. It doesn't look hardware intensive, but there was always the chance they pulled a "Mega Man x Street Fighter" and made a simple game ridiculously high-spec.

I was reading the next to last chapter of Genshiken (the original series); that chapter is a great example of amazing storytelling. You understand what's going on at every moment, and yet for the whole chapter there's not one single word of dialogue.

The characters themselves are speaking but there are no speech bubbles, and yet every panel speaks for itself. It's a surreal last moment with the whole gang together, and it pulls all that off while simultaneously getting ready to wrap up the story.

It really impressed me. I think they mentioned doing that in Bakuman, when Nizuma did it and they said it was difficult to properly pull off.

Tricked by cover art, at least I think I was. Started on Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita. As soon as I heard one character's voice, I figured it was a boy. Not what I was hoping for, assuming my assumption is correct, which I'm fairly certain it is. It's a short show though, so hopefully it's entertaining in a few spots at least.

Getting close to me being able to watch Hero Academia s2, getting excited. Actually ended up liking Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita. Wasn't what I was hoping for, but not bad for an ecchi short, though it's basically hentai for parts of it. Hope they keep doing these short ecchi shows like this.

Here's something I never understood about Orochimaru. He killed those people in the Chuunin exam so that meant he was using their clothes to look like them right? They weren't Sound village ninja, why did he keep wearing that outfit for so long after that arc was done? I mean, even when he was fighting the hokage he shouldn't have been wearing that outfit still. I swear he was still wearing it in Shippuuden as well! It makes no sense!!! Even Sasuke wears those stupid purple ropes and that makes no sense as well!!!

The look becomes incorporated into meaning that person is one of his followers. Even Kimimaro wears it in parts where they're showing Juugo's past. But Kimimaro didn't wear them as a kid and neither did his clan. The sound four wear them, but that makes no sense because Orochimaru didn't wear them before killing the ninja that were from...uh...that grass??? Oh well, it's just always been odd to me that it was worn. I know the rope is functional for things like holding Sasuke's sword.
