If you take that lump sum and it grows a very conservative 7% return a year (market averages 10% return a year), you're still gaining more than the daily payment from your return. Back when there was only civ 1, there was also this. theres two core tenets of game design that I just love so much. One, self-discovery and borderline exploitative use of various OP combos. But its like dota 2, where its so pervasive, it balances itself out. Second tenet, is the rogue like features of randomness in regards to the tech tree, which is basically a unicorn in this genre. You arent guaranteed to have access to the same OP combos/strategies every game, and makes you actually work strategy to adapt. another plus, the UI despite being ancient, is pretty easy to work with. --- Your palace may last forever, but my yurt can go anywhere. |

Next best thing are games with widespread critical acclaim, and keep myself in a dark about the details besides the name.
