| davidponte 07/18/18 10:44:41 AM #8 | Huh, this was expected given the last few days but still pretty shocking overall. I feel terrible for Demar and still think Kawhi is a bitch for what he pulled, but I'm not mad here, and it has nothing to do with getting a Kawhi rental. The Raps were never going to win with this roster. I joked "trade everyone" when they lost this year, but there was some truth to my feelings. Seeing your team perform well in the season is cool, but knowing that they had no chance to ever actually win kind of killed any interest. I don't think one year of Kawhi changes that, but we're now one year away from starting over and working to rebuild. I was ready for Demar to go after the sweep. I was hoping we'd get picks and/or young players back to help start the future rebuild, but this is fine. As long as Kawhi actually plays and goes 100%, I'll take one year and a chance to have the privilige to lose to the Warriors in the finals. --- Posted using GameFlux Get it now for Android from Google Play! |

Community S1-S3 is also fantastic but S4 was bad enough to make me drop the show and never come back. The old episodes of Arrested Development are fantastic is well. Ended up being one of the better games I've played in awhile. The combat felt really good for the most part. Fighting human enemies wasn't anything new but the dynamic with the machines and finding different ways to expose weaknesses and take them down was incredibly satisfying. I did all of the side-quests and found all the collectibles on my way to the platinum. Very little of the non-story stuff felt skippable, and I enjoyed going through it all. The plotlines on some of the side-quests weren't all that interesting, but the gameplay more than made up for it. I didn't do any of the Frozen Wilds stuff just because I felt like I was done after getting the platinum and finishing the story, and there are other games I want to play, but it's definitely something I'd like to check out in the future. --- The final Undisputed Champion in UCA history. |

| davidponte 07/15/18 12:18:47 AM #29 | It's weird for me, because I generally really enjoy these open world games that have dozens of side quests and a bunch of collectibles on the map. Once I get going, I'll be in the zone for 5-6 hours at a time just going to every notable location on the map, yet often when I first start these games I get a sort of anxiety when seeing a huge map with a million different icons on it and realize how long it's going to take me to go through them. I always end up enjoying these games, but the early goings always feel very daunting until I begin to make progress and find the best way to approach things. It took me about a week of playing for 45 minutes at a time and stopping to really get into the game and enjoy what it had to offer. I thought the entire starting area was pretty weak and the initial parts of the story didn't really draw me in, but once it really got going and the world opened up, I was hooked. Definitely one of the better games overall I've played in recent memory. 32/50 --- The final Undisputed Champion in UCA history. |
