I kind of like 6-DLC. It felt exactly like a 1-X case. I mean, yes, it was dumb as hell and the animations were too long but I still found it charming. Plus it's like the only case since the OT to have Maya back as an assistant, and I'm a sucker for Larry. So yeah, nostalgia, but it's good nostalgia.

you're right about 5-2 though.

6-4 is an interesting case to think about in terms of "worst cases." It's the most obviously filler case in the series and just doesn't translate to the west. but I still don't think it's as bad as 4-3 or 2-3. I think I might actually like it more than 5-2 because it has some decent gimmicks and at least it has the decency to be over with relatively quickly

So it's basically "auto-battle" until your ATB fills, and then it automatically brings up the tactical mode window

Lamiroir is so bad, Daryan is bad, Machi is the literal WORST

3-3 is decent! Kudo kind of sucks but his theme makes up for it. Like every case in the original trilogy it's better with text skip.

To me Mario is about powerups and dying if you get hit if you're small. Yoshi is about retrieving baby mario, flutter jumping and ricocheting eggs.
