Of all the moves her Garchomp changes from title to title, Earthquake is the only move it always has. So the writers are just morons. In fact, in the anime it knows dig of all moves.
Last I heard, earthquake-related moves are not featured in the anime in order to avoid parallels to Japan's relatively frequent earthquakes.
One episode of the Ruby/Sapphire series and two episodes of the Black/White series were canceled ahead of airing for a related reason, as particularly devastating earthquakes occurred close to their planned airing dates.

There are some pretty iffy takes on what was underrated when it launched in this topic but you need to lay off the memes if you think that Baccano was overlooked. It was literally the most viewed show in its season when it aired. >.>
Well, just going by my experience. Didn't engage with the English-speaking anime fanbase back then, or with the series' fanbase until the novel started getting English releases (which was relatively recently). Another series I would've put in that slot would be Ben-To.

Oh man, Shakugan No Shana was fun. I thought about putting it as my underrated series, but couldn't put it over Lyrical Nanoha. Shana was really good though, plus it's rare for a light novel adaptation to actually adapt all the way to the end of the story like Shana did.
The first Shana series is what got me into light novels in the first place, though I stopped following it once the Thai official release was canceled (at volume 14, the end of season 2), so I read the rest of it (in Japanese) and watched season 3 only pretty recently.

Can't think of anything I hate that's well-liked by others, at least off the top of my head.

Some notes:
Favorite art style slot is Angel's Egg.
Favorite character slot is Kino from Kino's Journey.
Saint Seiya in the atmosphere slot is the "Heaven Chapter" movie, which has a very different tone and atmosphere from the usual series.

Does anyone here happen to know if I can read/watch Fate/Zero without having prior knowledge of the Fate series? PM3 has me in the mood for more Urobuchi lol
I'd say you can. A few key aspects toward the end kinda assumes that you already know the reveals from the original Fate VN (any of the three routes), but it's not absolutely essential since Zero is still its own story.

Also, as someone who's read the LN first, I remember the anime having an all-new episode (I think it's either 10 or 11) that felt kinda silly and out of place. Might be worth noting.

Just like shipping via the post office, so too will a series face an indefinite delay. Post pictures (or clips) of the last scene/panel before an unexpected cancellation/indefinite hiatus.

Ah, the infamous Shaman King original ending, the last pages of which show the main cast going to sleep before the final battle...
Good thing the complete edition replaced it with a whole new arc to end things properly.https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/3/9/5/AAa0euAADFmz.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/3/9/6/AAa0euAADFm0.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/3/9/7/AAa0euAADFm1.jpg

Huh... didn't know that they eventually made a full-length series. I watched the 2011 animated shorts that were just like 5 minutes long each. Gotta check it out when I have the time to.

Things like konosuba / cautious hero barely fit into the isekai definition in my head. like, I know they are, but there's a certain sort of mood / plot style / etc I associate with the genre and those two more just use the setting as a way to deliver endless amounts of jokes based on things that don't exist in the real world.

this isn't just an "I like it so it's not isekai" either because I thought cautious hero was pretty bad <_<
I might've said this before, but it's probably more appropriate to think of isekai as a setting type more than genre.
The isekai LN/WN cliches associated with the "isekai" originated from stuff that got super popular in the... last decade or so, but there are definitely a lot of isekai works that predate those.
