I picked out what other backlog show to watch alongside Code Geass. I decided to not double up on mecha, and instead I'm watching a sci-fi magical girl car commercial anime called Wish Upon The Pleiades. Dunno if anyone here has seen it before.

It's a sci-fi anime because the girls are helping an alien recover parts of its broken spaceship and they also go into space. It's a magical girl anime because the girls transform, fly around, and use magic. And finally, it's a car commercial because look at their magic staffs they fly around on.

Just fucking look at them. They make car engine noises when they fly too, and the main girl is even named Subaru like the car company that sponsored the anime. But anyways, ridiculous premise aside, it's actually been pretty fun through the first three episodes.

Huh... didn't know that they eventually made a full-length series. I watched the 2011 animated shorts that were just like 5 minutes long each. Gotta check it out when I have the time to.

That show was great Cal, loved it when it aired.

You can tell how good the season will be since the characters appear to be like 10, instead of teenagers with nothing better to do than ride their girlfriends while playing card games.

To be fair, Vrains went the more mature route with a teenage cast (to try and recapture the magic and popularity that 5D's had) and it was boring as shit most of the time. It flopped, then Konami over-corrected and went super childish with Sevens and now this new one.

I've never seen anything RWBY related but I will watch anything the Butcher puts out. It looks like he's credited for "Original Animation Plan", whatever that means, so he might not be writing it.

Also was watching clips of random stuff that pops up in my YouTube suggestions, the part where Hotaru catches her at the end still makes me laugh out loud 9/10 times I see it.

I still love the single player CoD campaigns. Rarely touch the multiplayer though, other than Modern Warfare Remastered.

I'm the opposite. I never play the campaigns, but I always play the multiplayer. I only just got into Zombies recently with Cold War.

I used to be pretty into the multiplayer, starting with COD2 on the 360. Played countless hours of that, along with COD4, MW2, Black Ops 1 (this was my favorite), etc. The last COD where I played a ton of the multiplayer was Ghosts. It was probably the novelty of it being my first next gen game (for then) rather than it being a great game or anything though.

Ever since then, I always get (or rent) the new game and play through the campaign, do a Veteran/trophy hunting run, then try the multiplayer out. I usually get a couple matches in and decide it's not really for me.

Don't really see the big deal after 4 episodes. It's kinda like, "Hey humans are terrible" the anime.

For me it was the opposite. I liked it less and less as it went on, and it got to the point where I just completely forgot to watch episode 12 and never went back to it. I could watch the final two episodes if I wanted to, I just have zero motivation to do so.
