The show, I can still enjoy. Because he's playing a character, and the show is lots of other good actors who do an awesome job in their roles.

I can't enjoy his stand up anymore though. And I used to love it. I had Himself basically memorized when I was a kid. But now I can't watch it without thinking how I'm watching a rapist.

It's just bizarre.

It's like watching Glee. Very hard to enjoy the show knowing one of the main characters is a rapist.

Yes. It's a great show and there are other actors in it besides Bill.

I'm not gonna stop eating Jello pudding or using Kodak film either.

How much of a loser do I have to be to go out of my way avoiding a certain band, show, video game, etc. based on the personal lives of one of the content creators?

It was one of those shows were "men are evil, women are great" type of thing, just like Roseanne. Not a bad show at all, but it had that concept

Nope, the US government employed loads of Nazi scientists after world war 2 and used their research and discoveries.

It's not that we go out of our way... it's more like, once we know something about someone we can't un-learn it. How much it affects my enjoyment is on a case-by-case basis. It depends on how bad the thing they did was, and how much that person is involved.

To say that it never affects anything is ridiculous. I mean what if they unearthed some lost footage from a movie that Adolph Hitler had contracted, and put himself in the starring role. Let's say it's a romantic comedy. Would you be able to just watch that and enjoy it like any other movie? Or would it be really weird and disturbing to watch an old black and white romantic comedy starring literally Hitler?

Once the rockets are up, who cares where they come down, that's not my department, says Wernher von Braun.

There's a neat little song about him.

I was referring more to things like:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_human_experimentation

In 1989, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considered using data from Nazi research into the effects of phosgene gas, believing the data could help US soldiers stationed in the Persian Gulf at the time. They eventually decided against using it, on the grounds it would lead to criticism and similar data could be obtained from later studies on animals. Writing for Jewish Law, Baruch Cohen concluded that the EPA's "knee-jerk reaction" to reject the data's use was "typical, but unprofessional", arguing that it could have saved lives.[31]

On the Cosby show i particular, I never was a fan.

As for the question in general, yes I can-- I loved the Usual Suspects & the first two X-Men movies long before I knew that Bryan Singer was a serial rapist & pedophile. I don't go see any of his recent movies, but I'm not throwing my DVDs away.

Im gonna be honest. Ive never liked the Cosby Show. Even when I was a kid and I liked TGIFs cheese parade (Full House, Family Matters, Step-by-Step, etc), I always thought the Cosby Show was horribly boring and unfunny.

Cosbys standup was and is still hilarious though.

The only issue now is that one of the reasons I liked his standup was because one of the only comedians capable of being hilarious without using excessive expletives. Now that clean image is broken.
