Which game would they play? Dota2 is the most popular, but completely incomprehensible for the casual viewer. CSGO is easier to understand, but very politically incorrect. Rocket League is easy to grasp, but far from the most popular.

TopicWould a game where the character get weaker as it progress be fun?
ZeldaMutant
08/01/21 11:26:42 AM

Having lots of abilities in the start but then losing them would be bad design. It would both overwhelm new players and annoy people who learned to use them. I'd rather have the character have the same base abilities all game, with the player required to master their usage as the game gets harder and harder. It's better to add complexity to the game, not remove it.

Though at that point, there's no true difference between "player gets weaker" and "enemies gets stronger" if you're only reducing the players stats behind the scenes. Maybe you could make that work with a related story, like weakening because of illness.

How is that first one a counter? If there's say 5 total monsters tributed and they have say 1000/500 each then that's 5000/2500 attack and defense.
It has no effects. All it can do is attack, and if you summon it on turn 1 it can't do even that. On your turn you can remove it with any effect.
Metalsonic66 posted...
I liked Xyz way more than Synchro, but that was mostly because Synchros were basically useless unless you built your whole deck around them
Xyz was a good design improvement over Synchro. Easier to add to casual decks, can't easily use them to summon more Xyz monsters, they aren't strong forever due to limited materials.

If you are the sole owner and worker, then it's a microsocialist business. If there's a number of workers who all share ownership in the company, it's a socialist cooperative. But if you hire wage workers who don't own the company, it's a capitalist business.

Also note that even if you're the boss, you might not wholly own the company. For example, if you pay rent on your workspace or interest on a loan, there's a capitalist profiting off of you. (If it's a government startup loan, it might be socialist.)

Eat a small fixed amount of sweets every evening. Your body will learn that it will get that amount and not any more, so it won't crave for extra. And since you're only eating what you decided to eat, you won't feel guilty. You can also slowly reduce the amount if you want to eat healthier.

Time Travel - You can rewind time for everyone in the universe. But you lose your own memories too. Duh. LOL.
This ends the worlds if used. If you choose to rewind time and lose your memories, everything will proceed the same way again, leading into the same choice to rewind. The world will be trapped in a loop, repeating the same events endlessly.

Phasing - You fall through everything, including right through the Earth and out into outer space. Better wear an astronaut suit fast. Oh wait, you phase through that too.
That's not how the gravity would work. You'd end up in a back-and-forth motion, spending most of your time inside the Earth, only bobbing above surface at the apex of your trajectory.

Ashura was used for the first time in exactly 500 chapters in the latest chapter. Kaido said something about Zoro having Conqueror's Haki, but it's unclear what that meant. Were the extra weapons created from CoC haki coating? Or did he just use CoC on one of his swords, and thus was able to inflict a wound on Kaido?

you need to take risks though, most people are not willing to lose money
All you need is enough money to invest them in a diverse, non-risky way. Even if some of your investments fail, on average you'll make a steady profit.

And even if you somehow lose all the money you invested, you'll only end up where poor people are already. All you risk losing is a privilege most people don't even have.

Poor people, meanwhile, risk crippling financial damage from health care or car repairs constantly.

The US' problem is that it's overdeveloped, not underdeveloped. A lot of European countries are approaching this stage, but the US is further along than anywhere else.

The betting patterns for a card counter are also obvious: they keep the bets small when the shoe is full of cards, and start increasing their bets when the shoe is running low.

The advantage card counting gives is so small that it's hard to try to disguise it without having your expected value of winnings plummet.
