It's fine. Slightly more heavy-handed, but the current climate's a lot different than it was back then.

I don't know. I honestly haven't seen an episode of it, I've seen clips of it though. Though honestly, it's the stuff that people have criticized it for, such as the My Sex Junk performance and certain content about sexuality, gender, race, and things like that. I might watch an episode or two if I ever get Netflix - I was considering getting it because of his show, but after the sharp negative reviews I've seen, I decided to not bother for now (I'm happy with Hulu and YouTube right now anyway).

I ended up watching the clip of the new Magic School Bus. I like that they're rebooting it, the reboot seems pretty good. The original is such a great show and it, like the original Bill Nye: The Science Guy, is still shown in schools today and kids today love it as much as I did. Hopefully Netflix keeps the relaunch as timeless as the original.

I am more than mildly concerned what the traffic is going to be like.

Yeah?

Well, I'm planning to drive to Salem, OR.

Then after the eclipse is over, I'm planning to drive home so I could go to work the next day. Which is about 935 miles of driving.

I might be insane.

The H is taller than all the other letters. It's like a spire above the other letters, which reminds me of that stupid spire in LA that only exists so it can be a few feet above the actual tallest building so it could take the title without any real effort. This annoys me, therefore, my lowercase name annoys me.

After spending a week in Vancouver, I can say that Vancouver is definitely a nice city as far as what I saw of it. I wouldn't mind living there at all, though I have no reason to move there and I imagine Canadian immigration is a pain too, so I would probably never do it. Certainly a nice place though.

you're asexual? you have no sex drive at all?

Pretty much. I can still feel attraction to girls, but more due to personality than due to any desire for sex. My friends will sometimes notice a girl and say something about her, but nothing happens for me. However, if I know someone with a personality I like, I like them for that reason.

I've considered the possibility that I'm bi or gay, but I have even less interest in guys so I know I'm not.

All that said, I'm only questioning whether I am asexual.

I might try an Ice Cap. We'll see.

The box clearly says "Canada Celebrating 150 Years". From what I am reading after Googling it, it's in reference to Canada Day, which is often called Canada's birthday even though it's way more complicated than that. Still, I see 1867 a lot on shirts in gift shops.

I knew these are just donut holes but I remember @GuessMyUserName talking about them so much that I decided long ago to get them if I ever went to Canada but after finding out they're just donut holes I decided that maybe I won't bother.

Well I'm in Vancouver and I decided to try an A&W restaurant since I saw they're way more common here than in the US so maybe their root beer is different. I think it tastes better because they use real sugar. So I thought maybe something is special about Timbits since people were raving about them here.

I love donuts and I say that Timbits are okay. Definitely a step up from the boxed stuff I usually eat but not any better than other fresh ones. I might get them again whenever I go back to Canada but I won't prioritize it. Nothing special, but they are enjoyable.

Ask me anything I guess?

Awesome ideas! It's my friend's birthday so I'm going to a celebration for that later today. He actually took me to English Bay and I was bummed that I would miss fireworks tonight. But Wednesday is my last full day (either here or in Seattle, not sure) so I might go do that. Definitely trying some Canadian food. Probably going to the Richmond Night Market tonight since it's near where my friend's birthday celebration is.

Also went to Stanley Park including Prospect Point. I went around Downtown Vancouver as well.

Also I had no idea Smarties are different in Canada and now I need to try them. I thought my friend was referring to the non chocolate ones I don't care for. Are Timbits anything more than donut holes? I remember them being talked about a lot in Board 8 as a Canadianism.
