if canvas was actually given to streamers and promoters on top of being promised in the first place, that's just straight up false advertisement and opening themselves up to getting sued. that says they had it, they continued to promote the release with it, and then didn't give the customer what they promised and presented.

there's gotta be a bunch of class action lawyers out there smacking their lips at this mess.

I really have to wonder what some businessperson was thinking when they decided to do this. You'd think they would know that it's basic knowledge in business that you're going to get into deep trouble if you don't provide a product as advertised. With a big company like Bethesda that has money, that's basically asking to be sued.

No, some problems are not related to money. Money creates new problems as well.

But let's be honest with ourselves. If managed well, the majority of problems people have are solved with money.

If I had more money, I'd certainly be able to afford a better quality of life. I'm currently pretty unhappy with my situation in life and most of those problems would go away with having more money. On the flipside, I can see many people trying to be my friend for handouts. I've experienced it before, when I was working and someone wasn't. I can only imagine what it would be like if someone has millions of dollars and another person doesn't.

You do not understand why because of your dated line of thinking. I was speaking hypothetically. I am an employee not an employer, I love my industry, I love my job, I love my company, I work hard, 10 hour days, 5 days a week, more if need be. I am not a workahloic, i just know that there are others depending on me to do my job and to do it well. If you have bad work ethics and do not care about what you do then sure, demand less hours and more pay to still hate what you do.

I love you and your strong work ethic. You sir are a good American patriot and you have my respect for giving so much time to your employer. You are the epitome of the American worker and I would love to have you as my employee. You are truly a company man. You have my approval, and I'm sure your company approves of you too. Congratulations.

Maybe we should go back to people being expected to work 10-12 hours per day for 6 days per week. Those people wanting 40 hours, which was often because of concerns about "overwork", were just lazy. Better technology requiring people to work less? Lazy. They should be fired. All of them. And now people want 35 hours? 30? Less? Like in other countries that aren't like America or Japan? Hah! Millennials, I swear! Generation Z better not be as entitled to think that they should earn a decent living while working decent hours. And people still say that technology means you need to work less. No way, the American way is to work hard, all the time, for the least pay possible, so I can increase my profits.

That's the American dream!

Finally, I can play some Katamari. Been wanting to for over a decade, I've only ever been able to on my friend's PS2.

But more importantly...

Animal Crossing Switch. I can already say that this will be my favorite Animal Crossing. My problem with the GameCube and Wii versions has always been that I couldn't have it in portable form. My problem with the DS version is mostly that it exists (okay, it's not that bad, but the holidays really broke it for me). And the 3DS one was my favorite, but at the same time, I sometimes just wanted to lay back and play it on my TV. I'm looking forward to the Switch version as it will solve the biggest issue I've had with a game like Animal Crossing.

Though I really hope they make the villagers say more interesting things this time. The GameCube one was really good about it, Wild World was also great, and it's been downhill ever since.

I can see someone saying that Elder Scrolls feels empty in some areas because you have places between towns. If you stick to the roads, sure, it feels empty. If you explore, it's fine. And I'd argue that it's better and more interesting than BotW, at least Oblivion is.

GTA V being empty though? You have rural areas, true, but I found the rural areas have stuff there too. If nothing else, there are nice looking sights.

Meanwhile in BotW, I just can't find things to do. I go off the normal roads and there's still not much. Maybe an animal I could hunt if I wanted, but there's not much in terms of things to do or even sights to see.

I'll say it: I was far more engrossed in the world of Red Dead Redemption than I was in BotW. Which is ridiculous, because RDR came out almost 7 years before BotW did, and because RDR is in a more "realistic" setting, whereas BotW is in a fantasy setting. I played RDR after BotW, by the way.
